Default Really need a new replacement figure from NECA.

Recently, I've bought a figure from NECA, that being Marcus Fenix with a Retro Lancer. It's a great figure, looks absolutely stunning. Only one problem though..well, maybe multiple problems; The Retro's blade was completely snapped off, Marcus's right arm would not budge what so ever from the top of his shoulder and even worse, both legs will not budge what so ever. I've tried using a hair dryer to soften the plastic to try and move the joints, that availed to no success what so ever. I even tried inserting the figure in the freezer for three hours to stiffen the joint so when it was moved, it wouldn't break. Guess what? Still wouldn't budge.

After browsing the web, it seems apparent that NECA's customer service isn't quite as good as it should be. After sending them a requisition for a replacement figure, a few months have passed by and I've still not gotten a single reply. So I thought "Okay, they must be busy, getting tonnes of requests...that's probably what this is all about." and still, no response. So, as an attempt to try and contact them, I had even went towards the bother of MAKING a twitter account, just to contact them. Yet again, I was ignored. Being a loyal customer from NECA from the very start, knowing that they produce great products like this, it's severely disappointing that they seem to not care about their customers. So, I'm now spending more of my own time to produce this thread to see if anyone knows if it's even possible to get a replacement figure, never mind knowing if NECA care of their customers, hell, if they even did from the start.

This is also not my first time I've had a problem, literally a week ago, I bought an 18" Alien figure ( May not be related to this thread but while talking about NECA, I had thought it'd be suitable to talk about this too ) that of which had came in package, with broken legs. Yet again, I had sent a request for a replacement bottom set of legs, yet again, had no response.

If anyone knows if it's possible to be able to actually talk to customer support to obtain a replacement figure/parts, it'd be gratefully appreciated.

Also, I still have the original packaging for this item if references are needed to claim a replacement.

If you have the receipt, couldn't you return it to the shop? (presuming you didn't order online)

Depending on the seller, they may ask or inform you to go through the manufacturer, it's like that at one of the comic shops in my municpality, over town.

NECA only replies to positive feedback which is totally retarded. I had problems with the weapon replicas, contacted them through e-mails, twitter etc, no reply. I leave one good comment on their twitter account and they don't stop talking to me! I complemented them on their Savage Therons, and they were all thankful and answered my questions of wether we'll see more Therons down the line, so yeah, good PR only seems to be NECA's way.

Well, I do still have the original receipt for it, but the thing is though, I guess it isn't really the place that I had bought the item from their fault, so requesting for a replacement by them would seem a bit odd, considering the fact that it was NECA's fault anyway for producing such a shoddy piece. Even contacting them via Twitter, my thoughts were exactly what c SPARTAN177 C had said from the beginning "NECA only replies to positive feedback which is totally retarded." which I can see will frustrate me and probably many more people who have the same issue(s) that also have.

Although, in saying that, the only faulty products I have from NECA are two pieces out of possibly 100+ figures that I own, but despite saying that, I still believe their customer support is just so bad, it's almost put me off buying their stuff, and I'm not too sure if anyone else feels the same. But, I guess at the end of the day, it's only a £12.99 figure and it's cheap to replace but still isn't an excuse for NECA to not even utter a single reply in terms of receiving a replacement product. Well done NECA, guess I won't be buying your Retro Lancer Replica and keeping my £100 for another company who actually give a damn for their target market.
