Ribbons not showing up

I posted on someone's thread in the Technical Issues area, but I thought I'd post on here as well for some community feedback. I just finished playing a couple of games of the Stay Frosty event and I did not get a ribbon for it. This is the second time in as many weeks that this has happened as I played Raven Down 24/7 last week and I received no ribbon either. I should first say that I have never had issues with ribbons not showing up for the events when I've played them and I have also not been the recipient of the "multiple ribbon for the same game mode" glitch either. I have played most of the events as they have come up, but I believe I did miss one here and there.

I am currently at 29/30 for my War Supporter achievement/medal and the ribbons have stopped since I got there. Now some people may say that I am not getting ribbons because I have already played these recent events, but the Torque Bow Tag event that happened 2 weeks ago I played, and I DID receive a ribbon for it (Shot Through the Heart). This was the ribbon that got me to 29/30! I can definitely say that I played the very first TBT event because I quite enjoyed it and it was one of the games that I did quite well on. The event where I got my STtH ribbon I didn't do as well and, interestingly, I didn't like as much.

I know of 2 friends who have received ribbons for the last 2 events. One of them was reset a few months ago and has been slowly making his way back up and the other only plays casually. I have also noticed while searching through the forums today that some people received a Brrr ribbon for this week's event and some have not. Now I'm not sure if there's an issue or not, but as I stated earlier I've never really had issues with the ribbons not showing up until now. I've also noticed a few people who are at 29/30 who are not getting this week's ribbon and they don't seem sure why.

All of this has got me thinking that there may be something wrong with the War Supporter achievement/medal popping. I'm not exactly sure why and I don't like spreading information that can cause people to get upset and flame forums without checking some things first, but I can't really think of any other reason why my ribbons are now not showing up.

I wanted to post here to hear from you guys what you thought and some other feedback. Has anyone popped the WS achievement in the last 2 weeks? Are you receiving the ribbon? If you are, what is your rank at? Were you previously reset? Any feedback you can provide I would appreciate. For the record, my rank has not been reset.

I should also apologize for the wall-o-text post, but I wanted to let people know where I was coming from and also if individuals from Epic read it then hopefully it answers questions they may have. Thanks!

Their were multiple ribbon events as you know (more than the 30 required), the number of events has reached its maximum and the ribbon cycle has restarted. What this means is you cannot earn the same ribbon twice, therefore if you earned the ribbon for the first 2 events then you wont get the ribbon for the last weekend or next weekend. I'm afraid you'll have to wait until you've earned a ribbon on a weekend that you missed the first time around. It's hard to work out which, i recommend that you go to the Gears community web page http://epicgames.com/community/category/gears-of-war/ and look through the old entries for previous events that you know you missed and work out how many weeks from game launch the event was and play in that many weeks time.
