Wierd Chid/Owner problem...
Hello all! I have a Controller, a Tower and a Minion.
The Tower is child of Controller.
The Minion is child of Tower.
The Minion is spawned using a function that spawns it and sets it's owner.
The problem is that when/if the Tower is child of Controller, the Minion is invisible! But if the owner of Tower is None, the Minion is visible! In both cases the minion spawns correctly, but is just invisible in the first case...
If you want more detail please don't hesitate!
Controllers are invisible, that's why. Pawns, on the other hand, are not, and your tower/minion should be children of Pawn. Then you can set them to be controlled by a Controller.
Think of it as a puppet show, the Pawn is the puppet and the Controller is the puppetmaster, you never see the puppetmaster but he's the one pulling all the strings.
I get it! Thanks
Instead of TowardGoal use TowardPoint - if SM is bBlockActors, add collision size offset...
