    Default Procedural Leg Animation

I'm thinking blended forward/strafe animations tend to be pretty ugly, even the best of them. Simply because the blending gets wierd. Lots of skipping and sliding that looks really bad.

I know Unreal can do procedural IK, and I know the necris tripod from UT3 has procedural leg placement, but I'm not sure how you'd make it work. It would make movement animations really solid and believable if the feet never slipped or skipped.

That still relies on a blended animation being present. I'm thinking using it for actually generating foot movement.
