How long does a 10k tri count model take to fully animate?
I have quite a few models that need animating and I need to release my game at the end of this year. I am wondering if it is best to start recruiting animators now as it could take a very long time; what should I do?
And, how long does a 10k tri count model take to fully animate?
And, how long will 15 10k tri count models take to animate and how much can I expect to pay from the cheapest animator(s) around?
The same time as a 1k or 100k tri model.

Your question should be based on the complexity of the rig, the purpose and role within the game, and the number of required animations. A hero character with a full suite of melee combat moves and other actions is going to take longer than a vehicle with weapon mounts. Also, many different character meshes can be based off the same rig and animations.
