Marcus Vs Drone TRU Exclusive paint

If you plan on leaving this set in the box, by all means, buy it. If you are going to take them out and display them, I wouldn't suggest the two pack, you're better off buying singles. The paint on Marcus is shoddy at best; the back of his boots has white smeared all over it, and it just looks sloppy and bad. His armband that holds his little armor plate on his left upper arm is painted white, which just looks weird and out of place since it's supposed to be a dark gray, according to my Epic edition statue. The paint on his shoulders is just straight up bad, no way to really put that nicely. I have Dom, Baird, and Cole from Gears 3 also, and they are FAR better than the other game versions as far as details, but it's painful obvious that NECA really slacked off on this particular two pack.

Heard they were bad, so just bought the drone off ebay separately for the new headsculpt. I have the series 1 single card marcus which is beautiful although I'm still repainting him to make him game accurate.

I am very disappointed in it. The new Locust headsculpt is badass though, I must say. I have a headshot drone as well, and it's face just looks like a goober next to the new one. That's the only word I can think of to describe it hahaha.

I know what you mean lol. The new head is awesome and definately brings the Drone onto par with the grenadier.

Oh absolutely. Man, I really want a Lambent Grenadier and a Beast Rider, but I just can't justify spending the 60 bucks to get both of them because I have some ink I need finished. Ugh, priorities.

haha, well best thing to do would be to just keep browsing the web until you stumble onto a bargain. I found a mint A Carmine this time last year for 20, so you never know what you can find sometimes.

I found a set with Boomer, Hoffman, Grenadier Elite, Lambent Grenadier, and Grenadier Beast Rider for 50 bucks. I'm SO excited.
