Qualification


NewGame+

The NewGame+ qualifications for this club are a combination of Silver's GK club, And Rioskis's IB2 level 2k club. You must have both these criteria to join in NG+.

You may qualify for the GK club in IB1 or IB2. But obviously you must qualify for the 2k club in IB2.


Original Game

The OG Qualifications for this club are a combination of Silver's GK club, and another qualification of GK level 5,550. (in OG) You must have both these criteria before you can join this club in OG.

If you are on version 1.3 or 1.3.1 of the game, you must follow the OG code (created by asianlitarian and I) to get to GK 5,550. If you have major infractions of the code, you must add 5,550 levels to your GK level and aim for that level, or you can make a new character slot and qualify that way.

Again, you may qualify for the GK club in IB1. But the GK 5,550 must be done in IB2



Verification

Since the 2k club and the GK club support this club, they verify your qualification, not us.

But for verification of GK 5,550, please send in a video of either you beating him at 5,550, (and proving you're in OG by showing us your character slot) or of you at 5,650 (or above) and again prove you're in OG by showing character slot.

If you are a GK club knight, we will accept form of verification down to a screenshot of character slot and GK level. For further verification, add me on GC (Silversabeast) so I may track stats. (this is not required)

Once you have both of those qualifications in OG or NG+, you will be admitted into the Pantheon! (this combination has been approved by rioskis, silver, and obviously grant and I)


NOTE: If you have entry into both of the clubs, and the GK level 5,550, you will have an asterisk next to your name for the added difficulty.

Of course not, I upgraded lately to 5.1 and my display recorder is gone. Frankly, I was just testing the "difficulty plateau" for IB2 GK and probing a qualifier for GK Club.

But I can record it if I find maybe a second iOS device or some camcorder.

If, as you suggest numbers above 99 are held for followers of the code, how is it to be policed? Anyone can say they followed it, but how would we know. It would have to be honour based at the very least.

Maybe we need a NG code roster. Dibdibdib dobdobdob and all that. (you do have scouts honour where you're from I imagine?)

hey, since we can't really test people on if they used the code, can we give the first few people a custom ID?

The simplest way is progress monitoring. Having this info, there are many ways to check if you follow the code or not.

But anyway, the main thing is trust and respect. I think those who tries to cheat will be easily visible. "Faked followers" will not be able to fool us for long.

I think Rugged is actually. I saw in a recent post that he beat the GK at a 5.x ratio. Someone should PM him to verify that.

after talking with grantnoe, we have decided to add an "elite" portion to the pantheon. this is the top 7 (for the seven members of the real pantheon) members of the pantheon determined by the multiplication of gk ratio and ng+ level

This fluctuates too- so seven people who make the elite portion for being best on the list can be replaced by someone who is better. This makes for constant competition but the ID's are permanent

i will say that playing IB with an iPhone recording right below your face or to the side of your head is NOT a great option...it definitely throws my game off a bit..

rugged, i implore you to find another way to record! This club was made for players like you....if i do make it one day, i'd be a bottom tier member

I'm not sure what devices you have, but I found a really good solution for me is to set my iPhone on top of a desk lamp that I have, with the camera hanging over the edge and pointed down at the iPad I play IB2 on. Requires no holding and you can play the game like you would normally.

i have my iPhone taped to the top of a metal candle holder i need to find a better solution, but this way works for now as i play in different areas of my house at different times...the difficult part for me is that i usually play in the evenings, in bed! It's tough to record an iPad screen with an iPhone while you sit in bed....

I can think of a few creative solutions using duct tape, but you probably wouldn't want to tape your phone to the wall, huh?

Another idea is (depending on if you have a computer in the room or a laptop you can bring into it) to buy a cheap USB webcam and sling that over your shoulder while recording on the computer.

Hm that's actually a good idea. They should add and in-game option to record a battle, and then you can save that to your photo album.
