Firstly, his is not a rant, well kinda. This is me wondering why EPIC nerfed the Sawed-Off to the point where it is near useless. Anybody know why? And if someone has the actual figures for the range and damage that would be much appreciated (pre and post nerf).
For example: I was just playing QM TDM on Blood Drive, just me and some guy left against the whole enemy team, we were in the spawn room (spawn trapped because the spawns are bad). The guy on my team is standing by the door with his SOS (the best place for him to be), three enemies walk in huddled so tight it was impossible to miss (they are in the doorway so they can't move)...he fires his SOS at point blank range (no, his gun wasn't in them, as I know that affects hit detection). Only blood. Not a single kill. I downed one with my Gnasher, but the rest seemed to take no damage
I'm not a SOS user, but to nerf a gun to the point where it is useless at its perfect range, is truly ridiculous. It was probably down to lack of consistency due to the connection, but for the entire of that match the connection seemed fine and he was doing well (wasn't getting bs'd).
If EPIC nerfed the gun due to people complaining about it, why haven't they done anything about the other mechanics which are broken and are constantly the subject of complaint threads?
