Default Programmer looking for friendly, casual weekend group

I'm looking to join up with a small group of people for casual weekend development. Preferably people who are/have been in full-time employment or uni education and have realistic ideas - no 15-year-olds with visions of making Halo please ;)

I'm currently working full-time as an applications developer, have been programming in C and C++ since I was a kid, and am a recent comp sci graduate looking to eventually work in the games industry. I'd like to meet a group of cool young people (especially designers and artists) with good ideas who want to make short portfolio-style game prototypes to showcase skills collectively, rather than massive over-ambitious games. Ideally you're a bunch of inexperienced dudes and dudettes who want to learn by doing (I'm not claiming to be a mind-blowingly brilliant uscript programmer yet), make loads of mistakes along the way and laugh about them, get experience, and generally chat about games and stuff.

If this sounds like you, or even if it doesn't but you just wanna talk about games and exchange FB names, PM me up!

    Well, why not.

I love talking about game development.

    Programming for non-fiction.
I'm the function of my code. Conditions are my body and calls are my blood. I have input over a thousand lines. Unknown of bugs, nor known to work. Have withstand coffee to create many programs. Yet, those hands will never code anything again. So, as I pray, Unlimited Code Works.
