    Default Multiplayer not working...Please HELP!!!

    So i made a game to play with my friends but my game wont connect us together. These are the steps i did:

    1. Created the map
    2. Started Unreal Frontend
    3. Clicked on that Big Play Button (-make)
    4. Then i packaged the game
    5. Distributed among my friends and they installed it
    6. I started the game and opened console and tried these: open EDM-MyMap.udk?listen=true | open EDM-MyMap?listen | open EDM-MyMap?listen=true
    7. my friends tried: open <myip> | open <myip>:7777 | open <myip>:7777 -nosteam| open <myip> -nosteam
    8. Pressed Enter


    And nothing happens. No error messages or anything. Just nothing.

    Am using March 2012 Build and here is the log file.

    Did you set up port forwarding? Is the game able to connect on LAN?

    Forgot to mention that it worked for two times.

    1. I had a single map -- Pressed Make -- We installed and it worked!
    2. Very next day i tried to connect......DOH!! It wont connect (Both LAN and internet)
    3. Anyway i had to add some assets in my map so i did that -- Again i "Make", "Package Game" and we played both on LAN and Internet
    4. Again i tried to connect next day but it wont connect
    5. Then again i started Unreal Frontend -- This time i added two maps -- Pressed "Make", "Package Game" -- We installed and it wont connect (Both LAN and Internet)


    So this where i am now. I have added two maps and no matter what i do it wont connect. Assuming i had connected two times i believe its not related to Port Forwarding. Is this a bug in March 2012 Build. I might sound stupid but is this the reason Epic is not releasing any update on UDK now? Are they working on fixing this? Because i saw on another thread where another user also has issues in connecting using Feb 2012 Build.

    Again i might be wrong. Maybe its something wrong on my side but really i cant find what the problem is.

    I bet you have network ports open on a specific internal IP address, and your pc keeps switching Addresses, set your PC's ip to be static and make sure the port is open.

    My PC is connected to a router. Could that be the problem?

    i have the same problem with feb and march udk.
    yes ports are open and everything.
    the exact same game works in earlier versions but not in the latest.
    lets hope epic are hard at work fixing it for us

    Agreed...I never had any connection problems with November 2011 Build. So i think the issue is with March 2012 Build.

    It's not a bug, when i read right in your launch log UEngine is trying to download a file namend "NewHud" but it can't so it is returning zero, after that UEngine trys to destroy the TCP connection but it can't destroy a null internet session so it only do nothing , i hope this will help.

    It works for me.

    You are right but i dont understand why its trying to download "NewHud" because we are using the same setup and when the game starts everyone has my custom HUD. So am not sure why it is trying to download?
