1) Why do people hate being Marcus for one match when they first join in? Like, REALLY hate him?
2) I've been playing FoN Stranded for two straight weeks, and I can now name all 25 of the other guys/gals playing this game mode in North America currently. I'm pretty sure there's not more than that. Discuss...

1) People just don't like Marcus. I don't mind playing as Classic Marcus, but I can't really get myself to like Gears 3 Marcus. Another reason might be because they have to play as him in every campaign, so when they play MP, they wanna play as who they wanna be -- Baird, Onyx Guard, Hoffman etc.
2) I rarely come across the same people in FoN. However, in Ranked KOTH, I always come across the same three clans everytime.Last edited by ChocolateBacon; 05-09-2012 at 01:56 AM.

I don't have a problem with playing the occasional match as Marcus. I have a problem with playing Horde as Marcus every single time I join a game in progress.

I don't mind being Marcus for the first match only. What gets me so mad is when I have to be him again in the same Quick Match, even though I never left.
The only problems that grind my gears in Gears:
1. Being forced to be Marcus/Drone, especially when I never left the match.
2. The cover glitch that only happens to the 3 Kantus characters http://forums.epicgames.com/threads/...ntus-LE-glitch
3. Inconsistent bot names and models: Marcus bot = Anya *? Classic Cole bot = Marcus *?

1) It's annoying, but that's simply because I <3 Carmine. Gotta represent.
2) At least you run into people. Stranded is my favorite playlist and I constantly end up with all bots. Then, when someone joins, if they proceed to go negative, they leave. Ditto to all bots again.[][] Anthony Carmine///Savage Kantus

1) I don't mind it for one match as long as it doesn't run long. Also i haven't had it happen in a while but when the game gives you join in progress when you didn't leave is irritating.
2) I haven't played much FoN playlists but i see a lot of the same people in Ranked Execution if i play during the afternoon.Thank you Cher and CrypticAshes for the Savage Kantus code and Cher again for the SGE code!
