Can there even be another dlc??

So you know how every other day people are posting threads about what they want to see in the next dlc. Oh and btw I would like to mention I'm not trolling or anything I love gears and play just about everyday and would love more content, but I just thought of something. Correct me if im wrong but i swear i remember rod saying since the game is now 2000 G and there cant be another dlc.

Can anyone confirm this? or has anyother game had more than 2000G?

Gears 3 has the limit for gamerscore and there will be no more Gears 3 achievements.

You can still have DLC, just no achievements with it.

So yes there can be more DLC

Yeah, rumours from Cliffy B is that we might get some DLC around a character who didn't get much screen time during the campaign. A fan's favourite, apparently.

Otherwise I'd like some more multiplayer. Beast needs an addition too.

Beast, locust characters and maps. That would work for me.

My guess is on cole train. IMO he didn't make much impact in the campaign (i am aware he was playable at some points), I just feel he didn't have any memorable lines or story.... LOOK AT ALL THAT JUICE

Of course he did. The whole Thrashball stadium bit was about him.

Damon Baird is the best chance. I'll be disappointed if it isn't him.

Cliff never created a rumor or tried to. He said something different then what people say but someone took it the wrong way and started to say "OMG! CLIFF RUMORED NEW DLC!!!!" allthough he didn't say anything like that.

Without achievements it's also possible for there to be free DLC, although that's not very likely.

im hoping they do a huge myrrah theme dlc. like a mega 3 part dlc that adds campaign that finally answers questions about her and the locust. versus stuff like a new skin for her and other locust. and finally horde and beast enhancements that add her as the final boss on wave 50 and other playable locust on beast. Would be sweet!! #instaj***

A fan fave, right, if anyone says anything but Hoffman, they're dumb, Cole is just Cole train, and you play an entire segment of the first Act as him... Hoffman wasn't playable and really didn't get a lot of facetime... him or Prescott, bout all that it could be, but Hoffman makes more sense...

that actually may be true. that would fit well with the whole pre-quel rumors and theyve already introduced anvil gate in the story and on the vs map anvil. would be funny to see hoffman with hair

Hahaha that would be weird... but if you read the books, during a thought it's said he's always shaved bald, so I doubt it... that'd be an interesting little bump in the accuracy. BTW like your team motto

I heard the popular character DLC rumor as well.

If it's someone who didn't get enough screen time I'm thinking it would be Hoffman, he kinda got the raw end of the deal.

I also heard that it's not a character from this campaign but still a popular one, this lead to me to think Skorge but this seems less likely. Although I'm very in favor of a Locust themed DLC, a lot of the most requested character skins are Locust ones (Skorge, Cyclops, etc.).

also there is a rumor of a competive horde. not a team of beast vs a team of cog type, but 2 cog teams obliterating the locust in a time style or points style manner of competition. i personally would love to see a style of horde similiar to the glitch from 2, if you know about it then you know what i mean, if you don't then you don't and i won't mention it again. but that would be boss.

The one that made Horde look like one of those large scale COG fights that you see in cutscenes? Can you imagine how Horde would be if it that glitch was made into a playlist, and everything was scaled to it. They'd be sending out 2-3 Lambent Berserkers to compensate.

New campaign would be awesome, but I'd also like to see a lot of the issues fixed. Then again, new characters and weapon skins are always good

im not sure if mantle kick has to do with dlc or a title update, but i really hope it gets fixed. as far as dlc goes. id say they should include all of the holiday and event skins (christmas skins, lightning round skins, raven down 24/7 skins, valentines etc) then from there maybe another 3-5 maps, even if theyre old fan favorits or something. i think that would be cool, and very doable for EPIC.

edit: oh and thrashball drone too!

I'd like to see a mix tbh, maybe couple of maps, playable characters, and small campaign. If they do do a campaign one though I'd love to see either hoffman or some of the characters from the books that dont appear in any of the games.

I really wanted to vote for Beast/Horde as at least Beast mode could use some upgrading, however I don't really play them that much. Therefore I gave my vote to Multiplayer of course.

But you can have campaign DLC and add more characters in MP.Characters who doesnt even appear in campaign cough*skorge*cough Big Yes to beast add

I want game fixes. I don't want to play on new maps, with new characters and weapon skins while still experiencing these annoying issues. Some things need to be sorted out.

this would be nice and i included it in the poll because there are a lot of things they could tweak. but myself just as many others have learned to cope with the current problems and newer content would be more beneficial to keep the game fresh.
