Nope. And it's against the EULA to use files from other games.

I'm not talking about the EULA of the game, it's the rules of UDK. No using other files from games in UDK, especially for modding an existing game.

So why don't you just kill pc modding o think its a way of control pc gamers want that modding capability don't you think well since UDK is restricting our capabilities on this All Hail Cry Engine 3 wait Transformers is on UT3 **** oh well **** it all hail Cry Engine 3We can mod games again and make maps and make games succesfull

UDK is for making your OWN games, not modding existing games. If those games come with a modding tool, then use it, if not, they're not meant to be modded, ESPECIALLY when it comes to multiplayer. If you dismiss UDK because of your inability to illegally mod a game, then I'm glad you're choosing not to use it. I don't see your account lasting long on here, nor this thread surviving much longer.

A general rule to follow is if a Unreal Engine game includes a editor (Such as Dungeon Defenders), it is meant to allow end-users to modify the game files. These files generally end with familiar extensions: .UPK, .UDK, .MAP, etc.. If the game uses other extensions, that don't have an obvious way of opening them (such as .xxx), they probably are that way for a reason, and I am guessing it's not to "kill PC modding".

Furthermore, UDK has nothing to do with what High Moon Studios / Activision does with their content. As much as what UDK has to do if you were to create something using the Unreal Engine. In fact, it's the right of everyone creating custom content to protect it, if they deem it necessary.

Blaming UDK for not being able to open .xxx files from High Moon is like complaining to a manufacturer of DVD drives because you can't copy the files from a movie onto your desktop and edit them.

@kidx: Question is whether it is possible... If Transformers don't have included editor, then you can't do nothing... Each UE version is different and you can't simply make something with one engine and expect it to work in another. That's it...
Different story is the native codding...
