Only one I know is a Step-Mom (no kids of her own). Started dating a man who has custody of his son and mother isn't in the picture. She took him in as her own.
Never seen her play GoW - however her, her brother, Autopsychotic (went by ]LoRE[ back then) and I had countless hours in the original Unreal Tournament on LAN. Great times on Facing Worlds.

She's played all three Gears titles and has completed every Gears game on Insane, (Co-Op and Solo). She loves to play Horde and has dabbled in Bulletstorm and Shadow Complex. She also takes great pride in kicking my ass in UT3.

My mom (just had tripple by-pass surgery april 12th ) nor my wife play gears or even like games but my wife and I have 4 kids ranging from ages 7 years to 19 months and id have to say she really is an amazing mom.. from dawn to bed time its nonstop for her.. obviously I help but with a son in 2nd grade and baseball.. son in preschool.. our youngest in diapers still our 3rd in ballet(soon to be in preschool as well).. one messy house that constantly need cleaning.. and she went to school recently to become an aesthetician, so she has a job ontop of it.. (plus she's skinny n hott as hell for having 4 kids, not like she has time to even eat) ..lol.. id have to say she is one remarkable woman deserving of any and all respect love you baby!.. even tho I know u won't see this

My mom is soooo awesome! She is completely supported of my hobby of video games, and she is down-to-Earth. She supports me paying majority of my money for video games, and sometimes plays games with me!

Well, My dad left after i was 4 So it was just me my sister and my mother. She raised us to proper kids atleast i may hope. She always tried her best emotional and money wise. She is just the best mother in the world, Specialy when she saw Gears of War 1, She asked me if she could try it out. Handed her the Controller, And she shot her own teammates. Before i knew it everyone was shouting at me. While my mom jumped around in the room " I made 4 kills, I made 4 kills!!" That day acctualy brought us togheter even more. And Thanks to her i could afford gears offcourse, And internet etc.

My mum (mom) is the best woman in my life. She knows nothing about gears or games in general but she knew enough to get me lots of gears swag for Xmas, including the board game and the gears headset!

She obviously knows me well!

My wife who is the mother of my beautiful nine year old daughter(she gets it from her mom) is a gamer. she has completed all 3 gears campaigns, has amost completed all the achievements for gears 2. is a blue 41 on gears 3. she is very active in the gears twitterverse and the gears facebook group. she goes by the name xgearheadmomx. i nominate her for any mother's day mention. she has also asked for a retro lancer for mother's day. also she totally enables me in my love for all things pearl jam and record collecting, even allowing me to get a 1908 victrola record player.

Well, my step-mom does in fact play Gears. She's level 40-something, and we try to play every weekend, along with her son and his cousin. Yeah, life ain't so bad.

My wife is an Epic Mom. We've known each other since we were 11 years old and we played Sega Genesis together. (We still have it in storage.) 5 years ago, we were at a friend's house and he had just bought Gears of War and wanted to show it off a bit.

A few weeks later, Shannon Hurt and I decided that we should move in together, on one condition. We had to get an Xbox and Gears. Our first purchase together, before we even bought a couch, before we bought dishes, was our glorious gaming console and Gears of War. It was the only game we owned for the first 6 months.

When Gears of War 2 came out, she came out and sat with me in the chilly Michigan fall weather for the midnight release. We got married on Sept. 23 2011 and she wanted and got a Gears of War edition Xbox. Yeah, buddy! No more split screen.

Our daughter is 7 weeks old and she'll be a gamer before you know it. This is why my wife is an Epic Mom!

MY wife Plays GOW 3 with me every day, and we are a family of five members two girls with 7 and 5 years and a baby with 1. she is near first prestige and she always look for time to play with me. She is a dedicated mother and very good with the gnasher on the game,sometimes she pissed a lot of guy because they don't stand that a girl kick their asses. i'm an epic mom...try to play gears every day - it's my outlet for stress. i've got a 4 year old and a 10 year old who go nonstop. my 10 year old is a t1 diabetic with wpw syndrome, so it's a VERY big task being his mom, but it's worth it

i play with my hubby, DarkM3m0ry and my lil brother, overkill48 as often as i can - they both have oddball work days, but we all make a point to play and have a good time

Do I know an Epic Mom? Do I ever.
My wife Amie (a.k.a. AmieofAvalon) is an Epic Mom. Even when I first saw her (technically it was the second time I saw her but this is a long enough story as it is...) I saw her carrying her friend (who was easily twice her size) on her back and spinning her around. I new she was a tough one. How tough? Well lets just say she can answer the question which is worse labor or kidney stones? And her answer would be both at the same time.

She is also very intelligent and organized. She has an Associates Degree in Accounting, but has a full time job of being mom right now and taking care of our personal finances (I really should not be touching our finances...) She keeps me straight and sane. Our daughter is 2 and a half now and we have a second baby on the way. The gender is still yet to be determined at the moment. Our daughter is really smart, and very well mannered, and I know I have Amie to thank for that. Amie also loves her coupons. You might say she is an Extreme Couponer. Her best amount savings so far has been about $250 on a single trip. Her best percentage savings was 82% on a single trip. That helps offset our gaming habits.

Yes, she plays Gears with me, and well. For the Gears 3 midnight launch we entered a Gears 2 Wingman Tournament at our local GameStop. Yeah we won. The Final round was just sad. 15-1. And the one kill they got was my fault. I was having fun and frag tagged a downed guy, and Amie went in to execute... Sorry honey... Our favorite game type is Guardian. We do pretty well, she plays defense I go after the other leader. You have to watch her though, just because she sits back most of the time doesn't mean she can't go out in the field. I've seen it and there were other witnesses, she has gone as the last man(woman) out and taken out the leader and the rest of other team herself. I wouldn't play sniper peek-a-boo with her either. If there is a Sniper Rifle on the map heads will pop. Even in horde she shows me up. More than a few times she'll be the last one standing on wave 50, cleaning up after the rest of the party has died.

She was my high school sweetheart, and now my wife. We've been married for almost nine years now (putting up with me for that long should be enough to be considered Epic...) She is an Epic Wife, an Epic Gamer, and most definitely an Epic Mom.

my wife is an Epic Mom , even though she hardly plays gears , she enjoys watching me and my EGFC mates play , and she also enjoys watching the live streams of the events that the EGFC does. from time too time she will play gears with me or my son . We have been together for 14 years which is an Epic feat in its self, she bought me the limited edition Gears of War 3 console for christmas and she kept it a secret from me for 2 months , i love her very much and Happy Mothers day too her and all of the Epic mom's out there

I'm an Epic Mom. I've been gaming since the Atari came out, so I've been gaming for a long time. In fact our whole family games. It started out with one xbox and now we 4. Our motto is:" A family that games together, stays together". I have a close relationship with both my boys (ages: 22 and 20) and I think part of it is due to us gaming together. I can't tell you how many times I run into kids on xbl and they say to me "I wish my mom would play". Our dinner converstations are very interesting. It's mostly about what happened in a TDM or stratagy. We've played all 3 GOW games and love them all. I've finished all 3 on insane. Thank you Epic for making a great game that I can also enjoy with my family.
