Petition to keep KOTG permanent

Every gamemode people used the Gnasher. If I ever saw a HB/Lancer kill, I'd be like "Wait... what?"

What I'm trying to say is king of the hill is my favourite game mode in gears 3 but everybody doesn't use the gnasher. It's filled with retros.

Boomshot is fine. Annoying in Execution and BTTE, but that's about it.

What? Would you rather have the Rifles shoot lollipop wrappers? I'm fine with making the Retro how it was at launch -- which will never happen.

The point is on GoW3 KOTH (essentially Annex) you just get Lancered down in the ring, or Retro'd. On Gears 2, it was Gnashers and power weapons all the time, bringing a lot of tension and CQC. For dedicated Annex players, KOTGnasher brings back that tension and nostalgia, and helps revive GoW3. I'd even stopped playing KOTH on Gears 3 and converted to Execution/TDM, but KOTGnasher brought me back

There is more than the gnasher now, I used to be an exclusive gnasher user, now there is variety

Because you then won't understand the concept of KOTGnasher. Annex on GoW2 was literally a wallbouncing Gnasher fest, and the tension was just unbelievable. More tense than Execution or Guardian ever was

fair enough everyone has their favourite mode, I love wall bouncing with my gnasher.

I can see it being tense, but pulling a clutch or a 2v5 on warzone, for me, is way better. More tense as there was no respawns in warzone.

Guardian again, was some intense **** as well. Everything was in gears 2, hence why I played it alot more than gears 3

"Why should I use the gnasher if the retro was designed to beat the gnasher AND It's had a boost so I can use it at long range?"

Actually, the Gnasher is your back-up weapon. The Lancer was supposed to be your main.

Only reason why no one used it in GOW1/2 is because of the lag and hit detection issues.

Yes but it didn't turn out that way. Then EPIC just turning around after 2 games and saying "no you use rifles not shotguns" is:

a) not what most people came to GoW for
b) not what people want (CoD is rifle based)

Exactly, there are already enough rifle based games out there. Epic didn't make what they wanted but made something fresh and new.

And that feeling when all your teammates were spawning and you single handedly stopped them from capping with well placed shots, strafes, bounces... Priceless

I actually got an entire 2 matches of FULL players (no bots) on Annex yesterday on Gears 2 and omg it was the most fun I'd had in ages...

I refuse to go back! Haha. I get hard aimed and get hurt RIDICULOUS now... It was worse in Gears 2 after TU 6.
But my 46 Days play time must count for something yeah??

All my squad mates have 40- 80 days in Gears 2. They are pretty much family to me at this point. Haha

The only reason I miss Gears 2, was because If you were good, YOU WERE GOOD, if you were Bad, YOU WERE bad..
Their weren't cheap loadouts to make that bad player good, because someone wanted their money too.

it honestly does show who is good and who is average.. The aggressive Gnasher game is what Gears will always be.. And you saw those players during the weekend. For so long I've been denied fair shotgun battles.

I do wish it was a best of three though. It's sometimes difficult to really sink your teeth into the weekend event gamemodes which only have a single round.

Wrong, The Gnasher's firing rate was Increased with the TU6 Update in Gears of War 2, and I'm pretty sure the damage was to.

No, on this one. Sorry OP. I did not like this event. Played enough to get the ribbon, then I was out. It's just a little too Gnasher friendly, and got boring pretty quickly.

Gnasher shots hurt more when you hard aim, more so then blindfiring. Its one of the most ignorant things ever done in video game history.
Harms aims hurt more because the spread is more compact, doing this makes the Gnasher seem more of a long range weapon. Add this with aim assist and you've got an OP weapon. THE Hipfire spread is more spread out, with a chance to connect half of the shot.
This becomes the BIGGEST problem when you are fighting a female character, due to their unfair hit boxes, hip fires connect less then if you were to hip fire Raam or Therons because they are bigger..i hate hard aiming, but I virtually have no choice against Females because they are so small.
1. I don't grasp Epics terrible idea of not making things UNIVERSAL/ Fair/BALANCED.
2. It just makes no sense how the barrel of a shotgun blast changes from aiming to not aiming. The SPREAD SHOULD BE the SAME. Uuuugh

Some players just don't want to deal with competitive players, so they stay in Quick beasting on bots alot. I've played QM and there are bots 99% of the time so I can make this valid statement

Why? I have yet to see anybody make a clear, valid statement. If you don't want to play it, don't. But don't make the ones that want this to stay not be able too.
