    Default Would anyone else think being able to prone or crouch in gears would be cool?

    Hey everybody,

    I just thought of an idea that they should allow your character to crouch and prone in gears. What do you guys think? and sorry if everyone thinks its stupid, but its just an idea.

    you already may crouch in cover, and running also makes the character crouch.
    going prone, could be added.

    technically you can already crouch, even if only in cover, and prone in gears would probably feel weird and wouldn't be very useful considering the CMS and health of characters in MP, you'd probably get killed in prone a lot.

    prone is cod games just makes me lul all the time its like..

    k i see you there in your prone, and then is whole body does a 360 at the same time xD
    oh cod...you funneh.

    i imagine it would be a bit better in a gears game though. not so stiff.

    Crouch is already in, prone was in development but scrapped thankfully

    This would be a game breaker in my opinion... The number of people that would lay on the floor right inside a door and just stare at it with gnasher/sawed off out would be incredible. Bf3 was ruined by the addition of prone but that's just my opinion I suppose

    The only prone position you get in gears is when you are dead and i like it that way.

    Hell no, sorry to compare to this awesome game to cod but it would just be corner camping *****s laying prone waiting for cheap kills. = RAGEEEE and lost of interest in game caz it would be just like every other shooter out there. Gears is unique it doesn't need prone. Use the cover system or die

    My question would be why can't cod have true cover like gears? that's one reason I like gears a lot more.
