Maybe an odst type of campaign, other COG missions, UIR vs locust missions. etc.

it could still fall under the banner of Gears3; for example, Gears of War 3 - UIR Resistance.

It's okay, I'd buy it without hesitation. I like the idea of having all maps and I don't mind the lack of campaign too much. My problem is, you limited so much stuff, these characters can only be used here, this mode can only be played on these maps, this mode can only be played on those maps. I want to play new modes on every map and old modes on every map, otherwise I might as well just play the original mode on those original maps.

While I'm sure many people could make a solid argument about the multiplayer being a major draw for the Gears franchise (and shooters in general), never underestimate the power of a good campaign. Eliminate that from Gears, and you've got Battlefield 1942. Good (and quite popular), but not great... and never to be great.

Yeah I suppose it was a bit too restricted. But Guardian doesnt work on Gears 3 maps and TDM doesn't work on any maps except Gears 3 maps...

yes but that is normal if you have many game types/variants.
usually people that play mp will vote for the desired map anyway.

I'm sure there'll be plenty of disc space... I'd imagine there's lots more on the current GOW3 disc that simply isn't being used or waiting to be unlcked thrugh a future DLC.

Anyway, it seems like an interesting idea, I don't know if I'd get it. However, I have no constructive criticism at the moment.

I disagree, for the most part, I like Guardian on every GOW 3 map, you just have to be creative and cautious. It works for the most part I think. They would certainly have to change the maps a bit to make them work well in these modes, but it's a new game so they could certainly do it, as DLC it sounds absurd but in a new game it sounds reasonable. It seems too much like just all the game's multiplayer on one disc as it stands now.

I agree. I love Guardian and only really play this now it's been included. There's less camping, the game is faster paced and in that respect it's different to GOW2 Guardian, but nonetheless it still works. It takes more skill and awareness to survive as the Leader, and I think that's the main difference. Rather than change the game, players need to change how they play when they're playing as Leader.

I'd buy it, but I don't see it happening. It wouldn't sell enough to be worth it.
