    ...the Japanese copy of the game still gives 22x XP for everything. Any reason they would be so out of sync?

    IDK. Maybe because their player population is so low? Extreme lag when connecting internationally?

    Can't connect internationally - its a different game (even has a different set of achievements and gamerscore etc.)
