Tried it.. since I don't care for this version of koth (gears 2 version is superior) id have to say its not for me.

Being a KOTH player, love it love it love it

the pistol kind of ruins it, but i can live with that. no power weapons is a good and bad thing imo, its good cause it means no team mates camping the boomer, its bad cause its hard to take over a captured ring.

i wish they would take out the big maps in the playlist though

anyway this is great fun, its not something i would play consistently as i can see it getting boring what with it being so dumbed down.. but for a weekend its perfect.

This event is COMPLETE trash, All the Kantus, Savage Kantus LE, and Females, or the Pistol(What Genius put the pistol on a Gnashers ONLY event), or the fact that there was 3 Gnashers Only events in a Row(Raven Down 24/7, get Gnashty, Lightning Round), then we got Bang Bang for about 3 days(much better than this S_!t), then we get ANOTHER Gnasher Event(with the Fu__ing pistol), or The Stacked team which one of my friends called team Sponge(like I said before All Kantus and Females), or the excessive T-Bagging(From the stacked team), or Kill Farming.

A lot of people were using the kantus and all the female characters when I went on the playlist. Many people used the pistol at long range. It was just annoying!

It's getting so dull now. Where is the Torque Bow Tag!? That was my favorite.

Most players are Gnasher players, it only seems fitting. I didn't see anybody excited for that garbage. "Blades and Nades" event. I think we all know why. This weekends event is very enjoyable. Haven't had this much fun since probably Annex games in Gears 1. Its so refreshing to not have to deal with the Retro/Sawed off.. And good because Alpha never had any players.
