How can I make 500K Gems?

Hi I just moved from IB1 to IB2 and am having a hard time figuring out how to make a good amount of gold. It gets annoying when 3/5 objects are mastered and you don't have money to buy more items for a while.

From what I have read the best way to make money is to make gems. There is eventually a way to get them to 500K sell back value. Can anyone guide me or tell me a place that explains how to forge gems worth 500k.

I tried buying the most expensive 50K gems available in store and tried to combine the 3. The combined worth of the forged gem was about 90K so I ended up loosing 60K. So I'm thinking buying from store is not the way to go.

I have 300% Itemdrop and 100%+ golddrop. Have not been able to get my hands on a gemdrop+ gem and rarely get gems from kills bosses..so how can I farm for gems to make 500K gems?..
Also around what value does each of the three gems need to be to make a 500K gem? Please advice. Thanks.

To forge gems you need to repeatedly forge the forged gem until it is worth $500k. I've found that it's normally a $150-250k gem with 2 lower priced gems around $20k or so to forge a $500k gem. It's difficult to gain sufficient amount of gold to support yourself in lower rebirths, but stick at it and you will have a few million spare soon enough. It's a great game as you're probably aware, so enjoy the time you put in!

I've already posted something very similar so I'm just pasting it here (It's basically just what Harry-Son said, but you don't even need the smaller gems to be worth very much at all):
Buy the highest gem available in the store and also the two lowest (or use comparable gems in your inventory). Forge the three gems, then buy the next two lowest gems and forge your gem from the last forge with them. Repeat until you get a $500,000 gem.
