    Default IronGuard customization...

    Hello,

For my university project I have almost finished the prototype implementation with UDK and thanks for your support.

I did all the thing with IronGuard and according to the time schedule I have no time to learn 3Dmax or Maya modeling. I search available characters it is also going to be not work.

Can somebody tell me where I can human character(civilian) or is there a way to edit IronGuard to a human??

    -Thankx a lot-

Well, I was trying to export it but it gives me error... "no source data available for some objects error; check log files"

    Why is that?

some things just won't export from udk, if you need the mesh/rig then go here http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/UT3Cu...html#Skeletons

Finally I did it. There is no easy way to doing stuff. Therefore I learn stuff from the beginning and I will show my walkways as bellow. There may be some other ways but I believe this will helpful for a beginner.

    - I animated my characters using 3DMax2010.

    - You can use either ActorX or FBX for export animations and skeletal meshes.

    - Animating Dr. X will be a good place to learn about skeletal animation.

    - Mr. Wilson animation also a funny place to learn the stuff. I have found the necessary modules of Mr. Wilson that are used in the tutorial.

    - I used human modules from Mixamo and artist-3d.

    Hope this will helpful.

Can you write a tutorial about how to import Mixamo characters in UDK? I tried but I couldn't achieve so.

    Many thanks.

I used the FBX pipeline to import characters. Some characters are not imported properly so that try many. One thing is you have to download FBX format of the characters.
