Thread: Rope bridge

    Default Rope bridge

I've been learning about physics assets and I managed to make hanging ropes, chains, etc. What I can't manage to do is to make a rope that is fixed on both ends. What I mean is if I set both ends of a rope as "fixed" I get some weird movements like if there are crazy amounts of wind (when there isn't anay XD). I have already set the objects to be twist limited and set the collision boxes correctly. I have even tried setting no collision on any.

Can anyone tell me the right way to do this?
    thanks in advance

I don't know much about physics (yet) in UDK/Maya/3Ds Max. I would think though that maybe you could do something in Maya/3Ds Max/Motion Builder that would help you set up the physics...
