Why do you only have 1 magic? I have a little over 300 with the ring of man and I'm nearly invincible cause the ring regenerates so fast. Also has anyone killed the stone demon perfectly? No damage?

I don't use magic that much, and i rely on magic stat gems, i have a 174 magic stat gem. And I have beaten the Stone Demon without taking damage before, with my Anarchax

I have 5 magic stat gems. 197 195 175 162 150. My attack stat gems start at 199 195 150 the rest are drop gold and gems.

I think it is quite obvious that it is from crafting defense gems. I'm too busy forging together 3 500k gems to do any forging, even though i have at least one of every defense gem. The rainbow gem is white, maybe try 3 light defense? Try mainly combos involving light, dark, water, and maybe ice. Fire and shock would be a bit of a stretch.

Nothing! It appears that Epic Games is not going to make it as simple as combining all the defense gems...but we also have to find a pattern or only use certain gems. It may be like dr said: we need to combine 3 white defense gems. Combining the water, light, and dark failed. I wish you all the best. I'll get back to you on any new ideas or results

i tried Fire + Poisen + Water because the colors of these gems make up the first letters of ROY G BIV,
................it didn't work but it was worth a shot lol

There is a pic of the solar fusion prosess on google that has a key in color that coincides with the def gem colors. If I get it I will post the process. It will take me a while to get the gems.

Guyver, any chance of posting the pic on here? I've had a look but can't see anything that looks favourable. I don't think we're restricted as to where the forge takes places, for example, the rainbow room.

Guys your researches are highly interesting in sense of science. I have to say that it's nearly impossible to forge the "rainbow gem" with elemental defense gems because my older researches show that you only get perk drop gems. Whether it's a weapon, gold or gem drop perk. You can keep trying if you don't believe me. I think there is something like a recipe with a percentage that allows us to forge a rainbow gem but I just will keep forging gems without taking the scientific facts into account.

SyLars, I imagine this was before the 1.1.1 update? I'm in 2 minds, I think we are possibly looking in to it too much, but I think anything is worth a try. I think it's good that we're all trying different things to get this gem, though I don't think the gem is particularly useful as it doesn't take 5 seconds to change a defensive gem to another but still.

It's neat you guys are saying this because I forged 2 gems 500,000 a piece. 2000 to health after magic. I'm trying to forge the last one now. It seems the dark gem adds more power. Crystals grow better in the dark with heat I've also done 210 and 218 lightning and fire attack gems.

Doesn't look like a forge of all 8 element defense will do it. My new hypothesis is a forge of 3 most powerful defense-oriented gems (worth 500K each) that are new to 1.1. The candidates that come to mind are dual parry all gem, light titan speed 80%, and some rare heavy gem I've yet to see.

Worth a try. I haven't seen Block All gem, but that sounds like a pretty reasonable candidate too.

I tried what Nafi Nacak suggested taking into account that we always have to forge 3 gems. So I forged first a red, orange and yellow gem together and got a red light gem. Then I forged a green, blue, a dark blue gem together and got a blue perk drop gem. Finally I forged the two forged gems with a violet gem and got a 200+ ice gem.....well as others said it's not worth to experiment and loose so much money.
Guys I think there is really a recipe and Donald Mustard knew it. Some of you might now say as before 'Then why did he wrote that he finally forged the gem, like it would be more luck than knowledge'. I'm sure he said 'finally' because waited the forging time span. He may didn't use money to instantly forge it and just waited. However this frenzy for the rainbow gem is not worth my patience or money. The parry all gem is much more interesting than a all elemental defense gem.
What I'm just waiting for is the big singleplayer campaign update!!!!

I just lost three major gems due to this clash mob. Attack 199 fire attack 218 and another attack gem 195. This sucks!!!
I'm adding to the post. The hex experience gem plus hex shield gem plus a magic gem gives so many health on magic

Sdfr4567, may I ask how you combined the 8 defense gems into one gem? Since we try to forge 8 "raw material gem" into one gem, and each forge takes three gems, it isn't intuitive to me how one could A. use only the 8 defense gems AND B. use each gem exactly once .

I haven't updated to 1.1.1 due to the increased forge cost but am burning to try forging the rainbow gem. Without updating, I am still inclined to think that combining 8 elemental gems is still the best shot we have. Let me know which of the following recipes you used:

Recipe 1 (The entire forge uses 7 defense gems, each exactly once)
Step 1: 3 defense gems -> Random Gem 1
Step 2: 3 defense gems different from step 1-> Random Gem 2
Step 3: Gem 1+Gem 2+1 defense gems we didn't use in step 1-2 -> Rainbow

Recipe 2 (same as recipe 1. Uses 7 defense gems, each exactly once)
Step 1: 3 defense gems -> Random Gem 1
Step 2: Random 1 + 2 defense gems different from step 1 -> Random Gem 2
Step 3: Random 2 + 1 defense gem different from step 1 and 2 -> Rainbow

Recipe 3 (entire recipe uses 9 defense gems. One of the defense gems was used twice)
Step 1: 3 defense gems -> Random Gem 1
Step 2: 3 defense gems different from step 1 -> Random Gem 2
Step 3: 2 last defense gems + one random defense gem we already used in step 1 or 2 -> Random Gem 3
Step 4: Random Gem 1+2+3 -> Rainbow

Recipe 4 (same as recipe 3, uses 9 defense gems. One of the deffense gems were used twice)
Step 1: 3 defense gems -> Random Gem 1

(Otherwise the space needed to store info on Gem A could get undesirably large) Should the Rainbow come from multiple forges, the game must take note of WHERE the gem comes from, which, as explained above, is undesirable. The game, however, could store that piece of information TEMPORARILY and wipe them out each rebirth.

That is why you probably shouldn't move on to a new rebirth if you think Rainbow comes from multiple forges.

This is just geek talk. Feel free to follow my advice or utterly ignore it.

Make no sense, the game won't forget anything just because you moved to a new rebirth. period.

Unless you go into clash mob and are fighting a guy and lock your phone. When I reopened it and returned to the game, my best gems were missing from the reaper.
