Mouse pointer stuck after playing in editor

Is this a bug? After I play in editor and close, pointer gets stuck at the top of the screen until I alt tab to "release" it from there.

Intel HD3000
Windows 7 64bits

i had similar problem after exiting play-in-window.
my solution was to use windowed mode and have a gap between the top of the desktop and the top of udk.

I've noticed that. If I play not in viewport, but pressing the green button to pop up a new window, mouse doesn't get stuck when I press ESC. But if I play from viewport, then mouse gets stuck.

Like many other ppl have already noticed, the pointer is not restricted to the window boundaries, it can go past it and bring up the windows taskbar for instance.

Using UDK 05/2012, I have this issue as well, but only on Win7 64 bit.
I don't have this problem on WinXP, Win7 32 bit.

Did you happen to have the brush editor open? My mouse constantly gets stuck when messing with brushes. - I end up spamming Shift-2 (short-cut for the brush editor), to get control of it again. I am pretty sure it's because I have two monitors, and when I drag the mouse from one monitor to another, while editing a brush, it freezes.

It's one of those bugs that I can't really track down, as to why it happens.

I have installed the latest version of udk, and the issue does not occur anymore.
