XP rank means nothing. Those guys could be mainly Horde players or maybe they boosted in campaign a little. They also might just be bad players. Some people just are no matter how much they play.

Gears 3 is full of people like this I can't recall how many times I've seen people with the highest ranks in the match do the worst. Even with all the crutches in this game and all that playing time I still see people employed the dumbest tactics. Ask yourself how many times have you seen someone with a much higher rank than you roadie run into someone shotgun? No stop and pop just face meets barrel. Man people are so bad at this game.

I have my rank mainly from horde, and campaign, (legit playing, not boosted) and I'm a green 85. I'm not that good in vs., because I don't play that much vs. So what? You can't assume that people play the game mode you are playing. I'm sure there's plenty of green/red/blue players that can't do as well as I can in horde, does that mean that they suck? Or does that mean that they mostly play vs., and don't play much horde. I just got my achievement for trying all the different vs. modes like last week... I have a .7k/d in koth, which is the only game mode I have been playing, and I think I have something like 100 games. Point is, it doesn't make sense to assume someone is good based on rank.

I can understand where you are coming from because I hate when I see high ranked people doing horrible, but, like someone already said, ranks and people's skill don't go hand-and-hand....
I mean I know a lot of people who are 85 and yet all they do is play Horde on Insane because they prefer Horde over MP.
In the end, this is why I go into MP with a team because then I don't have to worry about teammates sucking/taking kills/etc.

I've noticed the distinct difference... Most horde players seem to be more about teamwork and winning instead of just being worried about their stats. Much, much less smack talk in horde as well, almost nonexistent. Vs.? Almost guaranteed to get smack talked... You lose, you suck... You win, you cheated/glitched/had host/only won cause of xxxx the list goes on. Basically, anything you do, there's a high chance of someone talking smack about it in vs.

Well, 3 of 10 players (or more, don' know) cant speak englsh. So is better if they don't use the mics. And there is the english speaker that hate trash talking, so they mute all players and so on.

I was in a ranked TDM game where a teammate went 0-25. and had 0 points, on drydock.

At the time I didn't mind I just felt sorry for the guy playing because the other team were spawn killing him and he obviously got no enjoyment or learnt anything new because the matchmaking system in gears doesn't work.

Firstly he should be in casual or quick match.

And secondly if gears used a true skill matchmaking system matches would be a lot more enjoyable might put people of the same skill together.

Keep in mind xp points mean nothing and can be boosted.

There is nothing more frustrating in multiplayer than people that rush over and over and drain all of the team's lives..........especially when we are up by less than three lives and end up losing. I understand that some people get bored and want to rush (i'm not a super conservative player myself), but I don't understand why they can't process information with their brains and quit rushing when we are only up by one or tied. I just don't understand. I'd take a teammate with situational awareness over someone who wins every single one on one shotgun battle.

Had many many similar matches. Every game is different, maybe the other team just trumped their playstyle. Rank usually means nothing but at that rank unless theyre boosting i doubt they are consistantly balls. Ive had plenty of rounds where i think my team will steam roll and they end up camping while i take on 5 people and obviously get annihilated
