Okay, after playing both retail and RAAM's Shadow campaign a few times, I feel that happy, gritty feeling more in RAAM's Shadow than in the retail game. Here's why I think so:
Story: The story was often engaging the player and not just a point A-point B situation, plus, fewer cheese-ball lines
Atmosphere: The DLC brought back that gritty, hopless feel along with destroyed beauty
Graphics: I don't know about you, but the graphics (escpicially character graphics) were cleaner and superior than the retail
Camera Angle: This sounds really wierd, but even the camera angle was better, in Gears 1 and 2, it has a moving typer camera and shot from the waist up most of the time (which was good) rather than Gears 3 full body picture.
I know it's weird, but trust me, out of all people I respect the Gears campaign, I hate multiplayer. I just feel like EPIC put more in RAAM's Shadow than the retail. What do you think?
