    Default Scaleform Splitscreen

On UDN, it states Gfx 3.3 has implemented focus groups and gives short examples of how to use them.

However, it doesn't specifically state how the movie is set up for splitscreen. It states it's a single movie, but is it instanced for the 2nd player?

Do you have to create a 2nd frame in the movie and create a splitscreen layout there and then advance the MC from Uscript?

Some elaboration on the splitscreen extensions implementation would be fantastic.

Matt Doyle, would you please chime in here? How is the clip set up for split screen?

Do you determine center-screen in Flash and then write a repositioning/resize algorithm for when the clip is initialized in Unreal?

If I'm understanding properly, focus groups alone only tackle the problem of multi-user input. It doesn't tackle the larger issue of the movie clip being rendered on the entire screen rather than the individual viewports.

Also, from fiddling it seems you'll still have 2 instances of the MC open because a new HUD object is created for the second PlayerController.

Can you please elaborate on the whole process?

I too would like this information.
The only thing I've found on split screen was done in the old UDK UI Editor, which obviously doesn't help with current builds.
