    Lightbulb Multiplayer modes in single player? It's possible!!!!!!!!!

    Yes! I did it!!!
    Playing King of the Hill with bots? It's possible!.
    Annex? Execution? Kill the Leader? Sure(but i'm unsure with last one xd)
    How to do this?
    Here is a quick tutorial!!! it's free of Console comand kismet node!!
    1. Launch Gears Ed and do not load any map!!
    2. Click on Actor class Tab.
    3. Untick Placeable Classes Only!
    4. Go into Info>GameInfo>WarGame>WarGameMP>WarGameAnnex>WarGa meConquest (for King of the Hill mode) click RMB and click Create Archetype (choose package or create)
    5. Go into Info>ReplicationInfo>GameReplicationInfo>WarGRI click RMB and click Create Archetype (choose package or create)
    6. Load your Map
    7. Place your archetypes on map
    8. Now in Generic Browser Click Log Tab and on bottom - here is a command line where you can get to hidden values of archetypes.
    9. Write EditActor Name=WarGRI_0 (if you doesn't know your wargri number select it and click "F4" key and look at label, there is name) expand none label and do this:
    *tick bHasEnoughPlayers
    *tick bInfiniteRoundDuration
    10. Write EditActor Name=WarGameConquest_0 (if you doesn't know your wargameconquest number select it and click "F4" key and look at label, there is name) expand none label and do this:
    *untick bDelayedStart
    *untick bWaitingToStartMatch
    *Put in WarfareGRI your WarGRI_0
    expand WarGame label and do:
    *tick bInfiniteRoundDuration
    *tick bInstantlyRespawnCOG
    *tick bInstantlyRespawnLocust
    *set MinPlayers to 1
    *set MinRankedPlayers to 1
    10. Write EditActor Name=WorldInfo_0 (if you doesn't know your worldinfo number select it and click "F4" key and look at label, there is name) expand none label and do this:
    *put in Game a WarGameConquest_0
    *put in GRI(GameReplicationInfo) a WarGRI_0
    11. Now Spawn Some Bots by kismet ActorFactory (bot needs to have Team Indexfor example 4v4 match need 3 player team bots with TeamIndex 0 and 4 Enemy Team Index 1) and Connect To level Loaded and Visible event. (Warning!!! You have to choose AI properly to its actor (carmine = cog, Raam = drone,theron etc.))
    12. Bots needs to design ai so they would fight and cap points!!!!
    13. Play and Enjoy!!!

    I will experiment with different configurations in the archetype, I may try and see if the archetype overwrites the default settings for Multiplayer, if so, great things will happen...

    You are awesome for discovering this bmbr! Gears mods just keep evolving

    Ummm, I followed tut, seems my guy just disappears and uses ghost cam...... noticed when reloading up editor the "GRI" becomes "none".... also put down weapon on map, but didn't see a ring appear around it......

    EDIT: Noticed ring.... had from level loaded and visible to possess pawn of marcus to hoffman, but then hoff dissappears after possess and ring is no longer visible....

    I think WarPRI might have something to do with HUD... though I am unsure...

    did you saw kismet in my test map? you should posses only one pawn. Rest is only spawned. When i come back to home i'll check tutorial again maybe i haven't write something and it doesn't work...

    no it's not warpri... i think its WarPC, cause it throws something like "myWarHud is set to none"

    Dude, figured it out how to get HUD, in WarGRI under None, go to GameStatus and select GS_RoundInProgress....only problem is it doesn't tell you the weapon the ring is at and the points don't update, lol

    it doesn't tell you because archetype is kinda "static" thing instead of normal script which is "dynamic" thing

    Yeah it's very weird, on your map it works, and with mine it's like, nope, forget it... I think it's because it's destroying my Marcus on spawn or something.

    In WarGRI under none, made commandpoint have WarWeaponPickupFactory_0 and then it displayed weapon in circle for hud, but still no point update

    PRI controls replication of player statistics usually, Hmm, I was able to add a Franklin stranded on KOTH's COG class and he appeared on the Multiplayer lobby screen character selection (in editor) but he wouldn't appear when hosting a game Sigh, at least I tried! I need bmbr to get online so I can test some stuff, it turns out archetypes could be very useful for multiplayer related changes!

    in wargri there is a boolean value called "bSkipActorPropertyReplication" maybe if we untick those we can play with customs?

    No because it replicates the pawn class and custom characters use the pawn classes of retail players so it wouldn't work That being said it may be possible to get stranded guys in MP, they have pawn classes...

    hm have you used streamlevel?
    i had problems whit it... it should be on map i think
    file is unavaible at the moment...

    Nope, no stream level...... and no archtypes involved either...... and yeah, sometimes gamefront is slow.... sometimes just have to listen to music instead

    Nice one, yeah this is why I use dropbox because I can just maintain stuff from my PC with good old Windows Explorer
    It works reliably with my PW backend, too!

    Actually, were you able to get it working following his tut? I wonder if it's because I never installed editor just used the "-editor" in the shortcut path to get to it. Cause I've looked at both and really can't see the difference, lol

    Pretty much yeah, but now both me and Bmbr have a strange problem where the properties box isn't showing when we use the editactor command :S

    i tried your map and found problem, that was you used aicontroller class for bots which doesn't work for game, i've changed values to proper aicontrollers(coggear and theron) and it worked even with pawn possession.

    lol noticed when player kills locust bot in execution, locust is still going or freezes after jumping cover... can someone check if it's fixable? cause i wouldn't be able to get to computer to 5th of may (it would be hard to get to it ) ....

    Hmm, I remember having freezing as well actually when I was experimenting with execution rules way back... I know my overrule game doesn't crash, maybe copy my wargameresurrection from my overrule map, paste it in yours, and see if assigning it to your game in world info works.

    No kidding, this has been the ultimate goal since unreal script is unavailable. Hell, imagine being able to pull off a fully working wingman gametype that you could start, yet people could actually join, the host would control the map rotation and only rotate on seperate maps, but we'd create an actual wingman playlist lol, it's more than possible, haha, if only we knew what we know now back when gears 1 pc was first released!

    Exactly! Yo jugg you should get dropbox because then you can set up a shared folder between us and we can add stuff to it and change stuff from the convenience of windows explorer! Very good for when we would be making constant changes and testing with this project

    Unfortunately, I do not have the time for it right now, plus if I did have a lot of time even on top of UDK, I'd be finishing my OverRule mod.

    Actually, that reminds me, bomber, my thing has numteams=3, lol, you might want to change that back to 2 for regular teams, otherwise AI can act retarded and try to shoot you as well.
