Default Movie/Flipbook Masks Playing Out of Sync

    Hello,

I keep coming across a quirky issue when making movie/flipbook materials with an alpha channel running in the opacity mask. What's happening is that the animation is not syncing up with the animation of the mask so my animation is being masked out at the wrong times. Sometimes a rebuild of a restart of UDK fixes the problem but this time the material just doesn't want to sync itself so I'm resorting to asking for help.

    Thoughts?

Weird, when I restart UDK the flipbook mask matches up with the flipbook texture but restarting like this does nothing for movie texture with movie masks. I'm doubting that this is a processing power issue considering the same thing happens even with small resolution video textures/masks. It seems to me that for some reason that the texture and and mask are not starting to play at the same time and that's why they aren't synced.

I'd like to get this solved as the material's native masking abilities, sans an opacity mask, aren't giving good quality at all.

Here's a SS of the problem in editor/game. You can see the black mask peeking through:

    Here are the material properties:

    Interesting...

I've been doing some tests with different resolution masks/textures.

It seems that anything greater than 512x512 will not play synced up for movie textures with a movie mask. Flipbook textures/masks sync fine even at 4096x4096, after the restart udk trick, but movies are limited.

Anyone have any idea what is going on here?
