Executions in Beast (Face punch)

I play Beast with a Savage Drone or Savage Grenadier, and sometimes when I do the weapon execution (hold Y longer), they do the Face punch execution or the Retro Lancer/Gnasher execution.

How can I know how to make the execution that I want?
Doesn´t the Locust do the arm-rip execution? (I have Gore on)

It's not an important issue, but I want to know.

I don't think I've ever done the proper execution as a savage drone or grenadier.

It seems to be random. I find the Savage Drone does both the face-punch and Retro Lancer executions also. The savage Grenadier is the one that does the arm-rip execution.

Whenever you get a downed Stranded, the savage drone and grenadier both will do the face punch. I don't remember if they do it when it's a COG soldier, so I don't want to say yes or no towards them, but when its one of the heros (marcus, cole, etc.), onyx guards, or prescott. they do the normal weapon execution. It's just a little different execution they threw in for the weak enemies.
