Hi, New to the game, got a question.

Hello, I'm a total n00b at this game, so the question I have is as follows.

I figured I'd try casual playlist first of all, got mostly bots and two players who were simply running over me with ease... I figured okay I have some learning to do before I even try that again so I went to private matches and created my own game vs bots so I could actually learn.

But.. the KDR/WINS and such keep tallying... I'm concerned about being banned for that actually since I don't even want the KDR or the wins, I just want to learn on my own so I can compete with people properly.

So the question is, do people get banned for playing private matches? If so is there a mode I can play alone where stats don't count towards anything?

No, private is perfectly fine. You play that to your hearts content, although playing people is the best way to improve.

It may be a difficult learning curve but you can do it.

Get some friends to play with and that'll help.

Your online stats and private stats are actually separate, only you see that overall K/D from your stats and awards page. As far as private matches go, go nuts, you will never get banned for just playing private matches. Good luck and have fun!

No man, i did that in gears 2, the stats in privet back then didnt matter much, but that helped me SOOO much, defiantly play with bots and youll do fine in casual
