A friend of mine got a GFWL Gears of war code, and gave it to me to redeem. It doesn't redeem on xbox.com, or in the GFWL client. I've tried everything, and nothing works. I contacted xbox support, they checked the code, and told me it is a legit code, hasn't been used, and is for gears.

After that I was told to contact the GFWL support. I did that as soon as I was told to, and they said they can't do anything for me unless I know who the retailer was and all of that fun stuff.

My friend won it during a little Q & A session around his area where the guy was giving away GFWL codes out, and I've been trying everything I can in order to get this code to work.


Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do, or how I can possibly get this code to work. I'd love to have gears on the PC and I don't want to buy it if I already have a valid redemption code that is legit.
