why was there a fuss about Re-Onyx'ing that 1 medal when all the others still can?

and why dont certain medals like beating the campaign, let you earn those medal points again?

whats the difference between earning XP for playing Arcade chapters when the medal is already onyx'd but if i beat each act again, i get no credit? wheres the logic in that

how is someone exploiting the glitch where you can just keep reloading after the chapter in Act 2 before the trench run, which can still be exploited, even tho EPIC did a half-*** job trying to patch that by making the end of chapter tally screen show up before the screen goes black, ive been in ppls campaigns where they could still pause as the cutscene starts and hit reload and it takes them back to the tally screen...

so how is that better/tougher to earn than someone who actually plays the entire campaign and beats the final boss, again and again, especially if its on Insane, same goes for Beast and Horde medals that we earn for simply beating from waves 1-12/50, if we do it again it should reward us, along with the basic points for playing each round


same goes for the Field Service medal, ive reached 100 twice...well 3 times since i Reup'd a 2nd time, so i should get those points as im going for my eventual 3rd reup(blue rank)

almost all of my horde medals are past the Onyx, yet why are those not considered cheap XP compared to the medals i described above?

Do you mean the Fortification medal? Because 1,000 is EASILY obtainable, I'd probably have it over 15 times if it was still obtainable more than once, people were boosting this easily because all you needed to do was build a turret shoot repair shoot repair etc. and you could get it within 5 minutes or so, so you could get easy experience for doing Nothing, that is why that was changed.

Now I need to ask you a question, Why do you want to get experience from the Level 100 medal when you are Level 100 and that experience does not carry over to the next Re-up?

The King of Cog one i don't personally agree with, as playing arcade is genuinely quite fun especially since people are now people gears 3 up out of the bargain bins. but i haven't noticed or seen if it has been frozen.

However the Field Service one i do, it was 20k EXP (or something like that, possibly 7k? idk.) near enough every 2-3 waves of Horde. which in total averages out each game:
2 waves - 175000XP (Just for the medal.)
3 Waves - 112000XP (Just for the medal.) (both based on a 7k reward)

I haven't seen any form of update or adjustment to the act 2-2 level, i haven't personally done it to boost but i just tried it and i could refresh the chapter just fine.

EPIC should have allowed all medals to be onyx again, it frustrates me how i don't get it for completing the campaign on insane over and over.. i should atleast get some form of reward. especially since the other medals can be re-onyxd. Survivalist etc.

Again for the Level 100 medal the majority wished the 60k carried over, i personally thought it should have only carried over for the first re-up. but if you look in your stats, you're not getting level 100, you're getting level 0, then doing it all over again until you complete re-ups. ( i think the last one does tally it back to 100)
