It looks like Proph has it on the list already under the Light category. It is the cap though, so good find!

After hrs of messing around with the gem forge I've sort of found the "recipe" for making +19x Attack and Magic gems.
Here are some of the recipes:
Health 44 + Magic 50 + Shield 15 = Magic 190
Health 40 + Magic 63 + Magic 31 = Magic 173
Health 40 + Magic 100 + Magic 31 = Attack 193
Health 40 + Magic 50 + Magic 31 = Attack 198
Health 40 + Magic 50 + Magic 26 = Attack 190
What I've noticed is that if you start with a Health 40 gem and forge it with two other cheap round gems you are almost guaranteed a high Attack/Magic gem.
I managed to take down two recipes for forging a Health +4x gem:
Shield 43 + Attack 6 + Health 15 = Health 40
Magic 106 + Health 16 + Attack 6 = Health 46
My advice is that in order to get a good gem you should always forge a "decent" gem selling for around $250k - $350k with two other "crappy" gem that sells for $12k - $25k. (Which means it costs $24k - $50k in the shop.)
Also, if you forge the Health gems to two other Round gems that are too "strong", you will probably end up with a triangle Parry gem.
Hope this will help the people here to have a better idea of the forging and hopefully come up with more "recipes".

Yes, if you look there is already a gem with a stat higher than that on the list. We only record the highest gem in each category to show the maxima.

Thanks ohcestlavie for this info. Has anyone else been able to successfully replicate anything similar? I do find it interesting for all of those gem forgers out there that from the 3 gem forge recipes I quoted from his post, ohcestlavie got the best attack gem with a middling Magic +50 gem instead of the Magic +100 gem - which resulted in a lesser attack gem. Just goes to show that the gem forge is all random...which I prefer since I'm a mad scientist when it comes to forging...
Also thanks to NiiLoc and MPLewis for maintaining the thread while I was away...and also a special thanks to NiiLoc for mentioning me in his breaking of the level 1000 barrier! Unfortunately from my viewing of the recent posts, I didn't see any new gems make the list over the weekend...and I also see that the rainbow gem is still proving to be a mystery...
I will also be updating the list with a couple of my new finds shortly...

Just as a heads up I have a gem- on block damage titan 800. its value is the cap and it was made from combining three of the same. the first was damage 624, second damage 300 and third damage 300(on block)

So why is it that when I forged a 500k + 170k + 50k gems that too 17 years to forge only worth 500k but I received the 1,000,000 gem achievement? The gem is a combat health gem scratch get 300 health.

Why is Water capped at +399 and not +400 like the others?
Because nobody has been able to successfully forge a Water +400 Gem. We assume that they're capped the same, but as of now we have no proof.
Has anyone forged a rainbow gem? That's one of the most rarest gems at the moment

And Proph do you want to know about gems that tie the current cap? I was under the impression we were just interested in new ones.
Nice forge there...but if you look back at my post #146, I mentioned that I had a 2400+ version already...so let me know when you break the 2400 barrier. I just never posted my 2400+ gem as I wanted to see what everyone else was getting - and it appears that finding high-end gems is tougher than I thought it would be. Are you still seed forging similar-type gems?
As for ties, I feel that eventually everyone will/should find a gem that ties a current cap (if they play or forge long enough) - so I'm only listing the first couple instances of a find for both OG and NG - that way, players will know that it's possible to forge that type of gem in either game type. If I were to list all ties, then my name would be up there way too much as there are only 3 gems on the list that I have not tied the current cap on myself.
Well then I'll mention I've forged a Gold +37% Gem, tying the old cap. OG 82.
And I'm trying, but mostly my seed forging hasn't been going anywhere, as it's getting more and more difficult to get high-end seeds, especially since I've been forced to reset to RB1 and I'm no longer receiving good gems from chests. I actually obtained the 2393 on accident by randomly forging my high-end seeds together when I knew I was going to reset that save to an earlier version anyways :P

MPLewis - I won't be updating your Gold +37% as that has been a gem that's been available since OG 1 - however, it is good to know that it can be forged in case people ever get rid of their Gold +37% gem for some reason...now if you get a Gold +38%, that would indeed be noteworthy...
Sonyman7 - how many reforges had you done on that 999 gem before it became 1000?
