I say use both at the same time. Equip one at your armor and the other at the ring with hex slot

speaking of which, if you're looking for a recipe for the Parry All Attacks gem try forging dual gems that have different effects together. I got mine from two dual gold gems and a the titan break dual gem. As long as they have different effects, you'll get a dual gem with a random effect, just gotta get lucky. Also I think their value matters. You won't get Parry All, worth 500k, from forging three gems worth 10k each or something.

Any time I try to forge three item+ gems together, I always get a drop rare hex gem. Is this normal?
(I don't really need the capped gem now, just need one just in case.)

for the combining perk gems, I usually get a drop rare hex if it's 3 "drop item" perks, but anything else, I just get another type of perk drop
I've also had terrible luck with elemental attack gems lately. If I combine 3 of them of different elements, sometimes I'll get a random gem (not a square) instead of an attack gem (square). Anyone else getting this too? I managed to foger a +399 light gem, which disappeared from my Infinity Blade (so mad about that >
I just cleared up a lot of space in my inventory and forged whatever elemental gems I can. Don't be picky; Just save ALL your elemental attack gems and forge three of the same kind, every time. I got all +400 attack gems in about 10 rebirths this way.
It's good to know that I'm not the only one with difficulties forging higher-level drop item gems, though.

it's kind of a moot point since I don't put gems in weapons anymore (because my gems poofed out of 3 different weapons), but it's still annoying. I don't get why I can forge 3 round gems with completely different abilities (shield +xx, Magic +xxx and health +xx for example) and get a random round gem from that, but when I do the same thing with elemental gems I only get another square out of it about 3/4 of the time. I'll try using 3 of the same type though (although I seem to remember forging 3 lightning gems together one time and getting a health hex out of it)
Just don't use the infinity blade. The only problems I have had with losing gems is in that damn blade.

Hey kids -
With the latest 1.3 update, square elemental attack gems now have a ceiling value of +4000. I will not be listing the updated multiplied by 10 values unless it is later discovered that there are higher base values than the current cap of +400.
Also with this latest update, I have not come across any new gems or gem caps - if anything new is found and/or discovered, please post as much detailed information as possible.

Hey Proph- I can corroborate Hirai's findings- when you forge 3 +200 attacks together, you do get a +250 attack gem. That's the new cap. :P

The light gem "Titan speed" need to be updated, I had this in NG, 90% instead of 80%.

there are supposedly "new gems to be forged" anyone found anything interesting? I've noticed that the rainbow gem now just shows a rainbow symbol instead of all the element types together, so maybe the fabled Rainbow Attack gem will be available with this little prism symbol?
also, the caps are the same, they're only multiplied by 10 in the new light trans weapons (from what I've seen so far at least)

Yeah, just cause a gem sells for 500k doesn't mean it's capped. Weird, I know. The cap for sell price used to be 1 mil (I think) before v1.1.

I believe you get a drop rare hex if you forge 3 gems that specifically say "drop item [whatever]%" other combinations of perk gems will yield another perk gem (so drop gem + drop gold + drop weapon = drop ?)Same here. So we just forge 3 drop+ of any kind and hope? Lame
someone asked what the "On hit..." gem looked like. It's just a regular Combat Health triangle gem, I got 2 so far, waiting for my third to do some seed forging

I'm willing to bet there are "rare" versions of pretty much every gem type. the Rainbow gem is also now called the "Rare Defense Gem," so maybe there's a formula for this rare gem type

hey you were right, 3 attack +200 gems = 1 attack + 250 gem. doesn't seem worth it though, +600 attack total for +250, when 3 attack +250 gems in an item (like the Aran or something) only nets you 100 more attack than having 3 non-rare gems.Probably just forge three caps together

Has anyone tried to create a Rainbow attack gem (Rare Attack Gem)? It seems like this would be (really) useful now with the Solar Trans-x weapons. It was tried before 1.3 but I am wondering if anyone has tried it since then.
Anyone knows how to forge an attack gem?
