In answer to the question...I would prefer Dom to be dead anyway. It makes the whole 'BTTE' thing a lot stronger to me. He is dead. The clocktower Easter egg is more confirmation than anything else.

I understand how critical it was to the story. But I also understand how much Dom meant to me as a character. I would love to see him come back. It seems you would be upset for me to hold hope for a character I grew attached too over the course of three games to come back from the dead. Read the OP; I always argued he was 100% dead. But that doesn't mean it wouldn't make me happy to see him come back just as I was when Goku was brought back 1,000 times.

I really wish people would stop saying "it's a game so anything is possible". While that is technically true the game obviously goes by somewhat real world rules. So saying that Dom could've survived the explosion makes no sense.

Because those were two different explosions from two different distances. It's like asking why the guy inside the exploding building died but the guy across the street didn't.

plot to Gears of War 4: Dom wakes up to Maria sitting next to him, then realizes all the fighting was just a dream. Then, as Dom, you must drive through crazy traffic to pick up Marcus from his house. After, you guys battle off the road rage drivers, you must make it to work on time, and avoid the pesky supervisors. Then when you get to your cubicle, you have to complete all your annoying work before its lunchtime. the end. and in gears of war 5,,,,,,, the real ending happens

That gives me an idea. How about instead of Dom finding out everything was a dream, he instead finds out that everyone else died except for him? His mind created a "heroic" sacrifice while he was in a coma and now he wakes up to find out that his teammates are either dead or Formers. Unfortunately it would be 1 Player only.

Just an easter egg. After all he crashed in a tanker into a oil tank caused 2 explosions of a tanker and oil tank. Roof of a building collapsed around then the truck blows up another time somehow. Basically he blew up 3 times.

There is no body cause he blew up!!! Dom's dead! Nobody can survive that! He ran into a friggin fuel tank, blew up 3 times plus any other explosions caused by Lambent. AND HE WASN'T WEARING A SEAT BELT! Thats how you know he's dead...

It's not a possibility, it's reality. Dom is dead, no logical explanation can prove otherwise. The truck blew up, the tanker blew up, the entire structure blew up and collapsed. He's dead.
