Skorge and Cyclops as unlockables.

Not trying to take any money away from EPIC or Microsoft, but I think they should be unlocked by doing something in-game like we had to in Gears 2.

While I personally wouldn't make a new thread to ask something like this when you could ask it in another thread that's already looking to unlock SKORGE and Cyclops as playable characters, at least you're adding something new. For SKORGE, I agree. Cyclops, I don't, because that character isn't an 'important' one like RAAM was for Gears of 1. Cyclops I'd be fine with being a later DLC character like the newest Savages we got.

Id prefer them to be downloadable content because we have waited long enough for these two, and I dont think it would be fair to have to go and unlock characters we have already played as on Gears 2 like Anthony Carmine.

I have to agree. Why is Anthony Carmine the last leveled unlockable to get? We already have too many Carmines/Generic COG and too many Coles as it is. The savage locust we just got should have been unlockable in game too.

Yeah, People pre-ordered the game just for them characters but we get them anyway in different colour? EPIC could of give us Skorge and Cyclops first at least! We have waited long enough now.

I couldn't belive when I found out that Savage Kantus LE is going to be involved, I mean I don't see much difference apart from the spikes on his shoulders are silver instead of brown. Why have I wasted my money pre-ordering Gears of War 3 and then an exact character comes along instead of Cyclops and Skorge I mean its a bit annoying. Thats just gone a bit off topic of this thread, anyway I want these two back!!!!

But it was pre-determined what was going to be in the Season Pass. And even though nothing is definite, EPIC hasn't eluded to the possibility that either will brought to Gears 3.

Eat your words dirtbag, there's no such thing as too many Coles. Also, to be honest, I think Epic's kind of trying to dig a little too deep into people's pockets. Why are we paying 10 and 20 dollars for gun skins? I think that's kind of silly. Maybe I'm just pampered because I played CoD so long, but skins for guns shouldn't be something you pay actual money for, they should be a sign of prestige like the gold omen for level 100 and the infected omen for epic edition owners and gears console owners.

There should be new characters all around mainly for locust. I counted about 35 on COG and 29 on locust,locust need more and not just grenadier edits or cole train skins.Skorge,cyclops,bolter,normal marauder,troika gunner,classic beast rider,and perhaps a palace gaurd/royal theron.

if new DLC comes out, i dont want to pay for more Skins ,, neither characters or weapon skins .. since cyclops is already in the game jjust make him unlockable with the next TU .. so people can get more creative about what they want to see in gears beside chars and weapon skins

I agree. Cyclops is nearly everywhere in the game. Horde and RAAM's Shadow. I think Cyclops should be unlocked by earning the Onyx Lancer. Skorge should be unlocked by earning the For Skorge Medal.

I agree with you, but sadly we're a small portion of the audience. If Gears doesn't revolve around Baird or "Insert Female Gear here", people just don't want to know.

Sadly, yes. It would be cool, however; I've always liked the Locust better than the COG. Most people I personally know prefer the Locust.

Its nice unlocking them because its a feel of acomplishment. and buying the dlc does help out with future dlc.

i think almost all of the characters and weapon skins should be unlockables,with a few for DLC and some to buy,but the ones that you have to buy would be like animated or just very hard to make and very unique.

yes,they need to fill in the holes on locust.like there is a savage theron guard but no theron guard,or like the ones you said.i would like all locust characters to be available,except for the obvious ones like brumak war beasts,etc. i would like different cog chars too.

And it's false information.
Just look at what was said - the 10,000 msp ALONE is laughable considering the SEASON PASS was only 2400msp. This should be common sense.
