My gnasher just improve with a simple setting change

I just change the mature setting from on to off and my god the gnasher became so much better plus learning how to strafe more. You can actually see the pellets landing on the target at all times, I never notice it with mature settings on probably because of the blood and limbs all over. The game play seems more fluid with less frame lag as well.

It's weird because I tried it and it actually did improve my Gnasher game a bit, too. I just couldn't play without gore for long.

Something about not seeing someone explode just wasn't working for me. LOL

it may work but i must see explosions and decapitations. I just set sensitivity to 20. works for me. and i see decaps!

I find it quite hilarious and smooth at the same time. Seeing someone get bodied literally flying in the air makes it pretty enjoyable. Besides how many times have you mistaken a enemy down because of the gore.

I tried changing my locale to Mexico, it didn't work.(to become a "better" player and whatnot.)
When I changed it back to United States, I had to "update"

Back then if you played gears one competitively you had to take the gore off because of how much splatter was on your screen.

This game is famous for the gore, if you turn it off your killing its soul even if it "helps" gameplay. I wouldn't do it though.

That's pretty obvious, but when your team mates kill someone and your in the heat of the moment it can be distracting at times. Point is its another option for gnasher users who want clean gameplay without the sponge bs that goes on.

I only turned Gore off in #2 so I could hear your opponents make funny noises when I killed someone without a face punching/Melee, but in #3 I get the beautiful gore and funny death sounds so Win-Win for me. ^.-.^

Yeah I was actually thinking about turning off gore because then the blood doesn't splatter on the screen, idk though, maybe I'll try it when I am playing poorly.

I don't like any shooters but this one and it's because of the good gore.
Gore is what attracted me to gears 1 in the first place, what made this game different and satisfying as hell!!

Rifles are stronger now but lack any kind of good feeling as always. Only the executions make me feel something.

I RATHER LOOSE because of inconsistencies than WINNING WITHOUT GORE!!!

true. true... i do hate the sponging but if i can't get a rewarding headshot with a gnasher (oscar mike!!) then the no Gore isn't worth it. This is the only shooter that i like, because of the gore, the story, and the 3rd person thing. but we all loves the blood and Marcus going "Godd@#$ son of a B@#$!!"

I find that I play worse with gore off. I think it causes me to have trouble recognising whether my Gnasher shots are hitting or not.

I tried it, and didn't notice much difference really. The only reason I'm keeping it is because I feel like the game runs smoother when it doesn't need to render all the little bits and stuff. Gnasher shots are a lot clearer, but it's a trade off because sometimes it's hard to recognize someone is dead without first looking at the killfeed.

I've been playing with the gore off for about a month, and I've noticed a drastic increase in my gnasher performance in most matches. Granted it looks kind of weird when an enemy doesn't explode when you hit them in the body with a boomshot, but I think the trade off it worth it. It's much easier to tell when my hard aim and popshots land properly with the gore off. Knowing if my shot landed fully or only partially prevents me from pushing an enemy that only took a fraction of the damage when I thought they had taken more.

The ragdoll usually helps me
