Classic Playlist revival thread.

We all know there was a thread a while back about a classic playlist and over time it got clogged up with abuse/trolling then deleted and we are left without a classic playlist.

I know a lot of people (myself included) enjoyed zeta execution, however it is apparent it is purely a test zone and epic will not treat it as a 'competitive' zone.

So, I put forward what I would like to see in this playlist and hopefully developers would notice.

• EXECUTION.
• 5 ROUNDS.
  
• 5 players
• Lancer , Hammerburst and gnasher starting weapons, no sawn off or retro(as gears 2.)
• Gold weapon skins allowed (as gears 2 style)
• No stopping power and active damage decrease (as with ZETA)
• Classic gears1/2 stalemates. (no man up rule)
• 2 round boomshot (as gears 1 and 2)
• All maps included, (must have DLC)
• Reduced lancer clip.
• Hammerburst headshot multiplier
• No smoke stun.
• Standard weapon pick ups.

Thats all I have so far, feel free to add and I will update with good ideas.

Please Epic this is very easy to do I'm sure.

I would also have alpha removed to make room for this.

it would be nice, but seen as 90% of players use the retro the gamemode will be not be popular, but saying that i would love to play it mate

I was gonna create this thread myself with a lot more detailed info...(now that Zeta has been taken over)

but not sure if it's even worth it....it's really hard to get through to Pete and Quinn and they seem to be the only ones working on GoW3 now. I think it's really unfair to people that want to enjoy Gears 3 with a "classic" feel, but they can't because all the other 16+ playlists are occupied by retros and sawed-offs. just give us 1 playlist....that's all we ask

I'm upfor anything that makes the game feel more like the old ones but wouldn't want to many restrictions on the game.

Zeta execution was great.felt like Gears again,and made this game worth dusting off and putting back in the tray.

i was actually happy with Gears 3 for the first time since launch.i noticed my old Gears friends list were also coming back and playing the game after giving up on it.

now its gone,and the game isnt worth playing again.

ONE permanent classic playlist out of so many isnt too much to ask.

sort it out please Epic.stop catering to the retro rockers in every single playlist.its completely ruining the game for some of us.

because we want the graphics,fluidity,characters,maps,player base and speed of Gears 3 in a classic playlist.

again,to have one permanent classic playlist out of well over a dozen is,i think,a reasonable request.

Gears 2 is a different game, I love it, it's my favourite , but I want to play gears 3 , with players , on new maps in a classic manner.
