Cant find any players in ranked to play on map packs?

Why is there no one playing the map packs? The normal maps are getting really boring and I am confused why there is no one playing the newer better ones. Is it because of Gears 3 or what?

That problem has existed for a long time. Now, the problem is not enough people play the game itself. I am stuck at level 95 and have not had much time to play during the school semester. I have not been able to beat the campaign with a co-op partner either.

1. No the most people on Gears 2 play Ranked but even before Gears 3 was out I wasnt able to find matches on Ranked Mappack list. Just search for Ranked Guardian there are the most players. And believe me Quick match sucks
