Influx of white ranks?

Is this just my imagination or are there a ton more white ranks? I just re-upped a second time. I also play alone at lot. And lately I've been getting matched up with nothing but white ranks, while the opposing team is mostly green. Does it match me up with them just because I'm a red, or just a horrible coincidence? If so, I've had the worst luck in matchmaking the past few days.
And I know rank doesn't mean much, but yes they are mostly terrible. Or else I wouldn't bring this up.

Yea I have also experienced this, I just assume that people have been getting reset a lot.

Could be the fact that gears became on demand so people buy it

I've been playing a lot of whites too. some of them are quite good. I don't know if they've been reset or just get new accounts from time to time.

yeah I have been getting whites often as well. They normally do pretty bad, but meh.

Rank can mean nothing, but I do prefer seeing greens on my side over whites :/

depends on when i play. If it's early in the day then i see a lot of whites,late at night then greens+reds.
i think a lot of casuals come back for the dlc.

Rank doesn't really mean much, but the low level white ranks are generally not very good players. I've seen some very high ranks play just as poorly though. I played against a blue 51 yesterday that went 2 kills and 14 deaths in a Guardian match. Probably a booster, but you never know.

Probably new accounts or new purchasers I bounce around between 3 accounts one is green 78 one is white 70 and one is white 21

The way I see it. If they're whites and are extremely good, then they probably got reset. I will look at their achievements to verify this.

Other than that, they're probably new or DLC junkies.

Yeah, I've been experiencing a flood of whites as well. One of them was actually so good that the great bulk of my green/red teammates flew on walls and ground every 5 seconds. He ended up with 24-3 K/D.

But the most probable reason for the influx is that the game is GoD now (hehe, no intention to glorify GoW3 there :P )
