    Default When did Epic adjust the hammerburst?

    If you didnt know it takes 8 clean shots non active to drop enemy, thats still true but close range now takes 10 clean shots non active to down enemy, whats your opinion on this? I like it, It kind of punishes hammer users for being closer while using a long range rifle

    Now if epic could adjust the retro to being an anti rusher again the rifles would be balanced

    Its horrible right now it really needs to to back to that close range rifle, it was effective mid range but u had to slow yourshots and maybe drop in 8-10 not 6 every range

    Hammerburst active was nerfed awhile ago. It used to give it 20% damage boost but now it's 5% damage boost. Heard that somewhere on the forums before.
    Lambent Veteran gave me Aaron Griffin, Gamestop gave me Commando Dom, and an Avatar prop from Flak. That is it.

    I noticed that too but what I don't understand is why they do that to the hammerburst but retro lancer has NO fall off damage what-so-ever .

    Obviously trying to make the game more noob friendly for the modern warfare people. Every weapon in this game is too easy

    This was changed a couple of months ago.

    Hammerburst needs a bigger shot/ammo count. its ment to be th emost powerful weapon out there (and thehardest to use). its still the hardest to use, but it shard to get a down/1 kill in one go..

    lancer/retro can easily down kill two people in one clip.

    I want to see more ammo/bigger clip by 3-5 on the Hammerburst.

    As a hammerburst user, I think it's a great idea. You shouldn't be using a rifle at close range anyway.

    I understand why the HB got backwards fall-off, but when the Retro doesn't get legitimate fall-off, I am stumped.

    Those changes really crippled me for a little while...I've readjusted now, but I still don't see why it had to be changed...

    ...well not crippled, but I noticed. And made a thread...and cried...

    It doesn't punish Hammy users for getting close, it punishes them by awarding easy kills to people who rush around like kids on blue smarties. I usually pair the Hammy with a sawed-off now (mainly because I want the Onyx, and I've done Onyx Gnasher already), which at least helps you fend one of the bastards off.

    Hammerburst is still a rad weapon. Easily the most balanced of the three rifles as well (but it will infuriate you if you're on the opposite end of someone with a quick finger). The other two rifles seem to be balanced amongst each other and the hammy, but not between other weapons in the game. That's my main gripe at the moment.

    HB got damage drop off in CQC, and gained in damage at long range.
    Retro got buffed in close range and lost drop off damage, increasingg ranged damage.

    The Retro Lancer- it has the DAMAGE and RANGE of the HB; it has the CLIP of the lancer; it has the 2PIECE of the Gnasher. And people say it's not OP?

    Lol, how naive are you? If that was the case they would post it on both the forum and twitter, or even post it on the useless event calendar. Everything is business now a days. Epic has proven this. The main reason they only announce stuff on twitter is mainly for their own good. They WANT you to follow them. It's all business and money.

    lol yeah the Retro got an increase mid range/long range damage in tu4 which makes no sense really. Since it's a short ranged weapon.
