What is next for Gears?

Not another title of course, but i mean the not-so distant future.

The "children" have their Pre-Order characters.
Zeta Squad was revived and brought to life in RAAM's Shadow.
The Ashes of the Fenix have risen once more in unison,
and the relentless fun of horde was taken to another level.

Characters, Maps, and possibly another campaign DLC?

I'm all for DLC, and the benefits that characters and maps bring.
But what can we hope for that wasn't already promised/confirmed?

Wouldnt Epic need Microsoft's permission to increase the GS barrier above 2000G, i know its a small thing but people like achievements and Epic would no doubt want to add more.

I think 2-3 Flashback map packs with 5 maps in each would do for me. Want more Gears 2 maps than Gears 1 maps though, seeing as the Season Pass gave Gears 1 vets their fair share of remakes

Achievements are defo not important when it comes to content but it's nearly always a must if you get me.

I can't see another campaign DLC. If anything I think Cliffy B hinted a new game at PAX. I mean look at it this way, EPIC could put a ton of time and effort into getting voice actors together, creating a huge environment, making a plot etc. etc. and they could only sell it for 1200MSP. And they can't add achievements. Or they could simply port 5 maps over from Gears 2, make a few changes and change the aesthetics and sell that for 800MSP. Just my opinion

I think Beast DLC is likely. Peter Knepley (I think thats his name) tweeted when the previous weekend event went down about the custom beast changes saying he was going to pass on the positive feedback (in particular the people wanting the custom Beasts to be permanent as DLC) to higher up. Seems good

I say a just keep releasing chars and skins and a few in demand maps; or have players unlock them, I prefer this way. Hopefully they will make or release another campaign DLC. I think Epic will add 0 Gamerscore Achievements, but tie them to unlock able items (Characters and Weapon Skins).

Beast mode is by far the most needed DLC. It only starts to get good as it ends. extend it out at least double, add two tiers both lambent and regular and add all sorts of new beast. Give the cog something to keep up with the increasing over powered beast to keep it difficult.

I'd like to see one final DLC, that brings people back to enjoy Gears of War for what it is.
Bring back the most popular Gears of War 1/2 maps, include Beast mode ideas from people on the forums, and listen to people on the forums, they wouldn't ask for things they didn't want.

I agree, except people wanted the Pre-order skins really bad.
