    Default Movable Objects

    Hello everyone,

Here to ask a few directions on what would be the easiest way to implement a finger movable object. A good example of what I'm trying to do is for instance, drop a piece of furniture in a top-down camera, and then move them to the desired position. A little bit sims like.

I'm trying to do this on mobile, and I have a few ideas on how to do this, just wanted someone a little bit more experienced to give me a few directions on which is the best path to take.

    thank you

Is the finger a cursor like object? if so you might want to consider implementing it as apart of the UI and not an actual world object.

The finger would "drag" the object to the desired place, then if you hit ok, it would be placed on the level so that the player can interact with it

yeah so that sounds like the finger would act as your cursor. you should look into some of the tutorials to create a mouse cursor in the game. you could turn the cursor on and off in your "building" mode

I was thinking of using the physics gun right click function (grab) to move the objects. Do you think thats a good idea? I'm still trying to figure out how it works but I belive it does what i need?
