    Question Two Colored wall

    hi there.
I want to design building with the walls which half of the color is brown and another half is white.
should I create two different walls or a better way exists?

You can create two different walls or just assign two materials to different sections of the walls, or do it with textures. As for which method is better... it depends on the situation. I usually assign multiple materials to one mesh if it's just 2 or 3 materials. But not recommended for mobile.

You need to set it on your 3d program, like max, and assign 2 materials to that wall. I would advice a tutorial if you are unfamiliar with the process

Hi I have nearly the same problem. I already know that i have to set the Materials with the LodInfo on the diffrent Selections of the Mesh, and that i have to define those Selections as CarWare said with a 3d Program. (<- hope you understand what I mean, cause I' m not very well in English so...). What I want to know is: How can I define Selections with Cinema 4d. Or is there maybe another way, for example a UV - Map. I already import a UV map, but don't know how I can tell the UDK, that it is one. Hi thinks that it es a normel Texture or A Material.
