Bring back provinggrounds.com and the original domination mod!

It would be cool to have a unreal 3 sp game and a UT4 mp game in the same package. If they do come out with a ut4 I sure hope the AI is working properly. That drove away more players than anything that I know of. I still play ut3 every night and the server is packed every night....sadly its about one of the only servers being played but it's still there. If ut4 were to come out I'm sure some of the old school players would come out of hiding and there would be new blood that is tired of the CoD series lol.

I'm sorry but currently, the PC version of CBP3 does NOT have UT3Dom v5. Only the CBP3 PS3 version has v5.

You can still get UT3Dom v5 and the Patch Update for v5 from the UT3Dom website:

Question if ut dom maps cbp3 is installed, it is needed to delete dom maps and old ut3 dom systemfiles or only the mod before install the v5?

I hope Epic demonstrate that cheap ripoff they do not need to make an UT as then know how do it, nobody as Epic ( And in old days DE ) can done an UT better like them.
For me is an insult they treat to copy "indirectly" the whole ut game mechanist only makes "different" visual style only for not to be dennounced by Epic.

It's oldschool, the UT3 animations remind me a lot of the original Unreal and Unreal Tournament animations, it gives it a nostalgic feel imo. Of course it doesn't look realistic and rather odd in our "modern video game age" (with many games that are... oh well...) but that nostalgia/oldschool factor makes it awesome. Other than that it's an Unreal title, who cares about realism. lol
Now if just a higher walking speed, a better jump and dodge feeling and a walk movement option were possible...

Quake came out before Unreal. Nexuiz is more like Quake than Unreal. Claiming everything is a UT or Unreal ripoff is just fanboy conspiracy theory.

I welcome any new arena style shooter. Epic and id do not seem interested in that gamestyle, I'm glad Illfonic decided to pick up where theses two mega companies left off.

Not exactly. Epic said they will reveal new information about Unreal Engine 4 this year and show some stuff. It might be related to the PC exclusive as Mark Rein stated, the consoles won't be able to handle UE4.

I REALLY hope it's not what they were talking about with their "pc exclusive tittle" (looks like it though). Oh well the only thing that equal my disappointment is my non understanding in their obstinacy to not re-create an awesome pc exclusive UT that would defo rules the fps market (like as a leitmotiv: "ok guys, no more drama, no more bullsh1t.... let's make the more awesomestestestest UT possible and lets ask to ppl about it, a bit at least") and get them back in the nbr1 position of fps maker (hello ID!), maybe they wait the end of realistic shooter era, which could partly explain it.

OK dudes, the pics seem to be realistic, and that there looks that it has been put real efort into it, but...
In my personal opinion, its too degraded and 3rd world senario witch is not my fancy, also its somewhat retro...
I am just a more perfectionist with the looks nice eviroment with futuristic creative, logical and organised feeling!...

PS: I just realized that the first ut i ever played was actually not ut2003 offline like i thought but the ut99 port on ps2 which i found quite cool and that brought me to ut on pc =) .

Really? Same here, the first Unreal Game I played was UT99, that got me into the unreal games, next one I played was Unreal Championship 2, then the first Unreal Championship, then UT3 after that was UT2004, now I just make content for UT3 after doing some stuff on UT2004.

PS. UT99 was the most popular game in my old school (I now left) back in 2007, it got blocked because it crashed the school server hehe

I doubt it would be Call of Duty, that is IW's game, the new CoD game looks crap anyways, Gears of War? It has always seem to be more Xbox based than PC, And I also Doubt it would be another UT game, because Epic seemed to have stopped making them, otherwise there would of been more Content for UT3, it could be a sequel to Bulletstorm (An Epic Games game), but whatever it is they is no info on name.

Technically, it's a People Can Fly game (but since it's an Epic studio now, it can be considered a truly epic Epic Games game), but it won't get a sequel. EA said that there won't be a Bulletstorm 2. Bummer³. Makes Sly. very sad. :'(
