Just played gears 2.

I know what you mean. The only problem as of late for me is that the only game type I like (Wingman) is impossible to find a game of most times. It is the only game type for me that does not start lagging like a B. Wingman is the only game-type that functions properly on Gears 2. But I haven't played for a while, so when I get back on, I hope I will be able to find games for WM.

If it wasn't for the slow CMS, and the connection issues, I'd be playing GOW2 over GOW3.

have you, or anyone else for that matter, gone back to Gears 1 since playing Gears 3?

it honestly felt like i was playing Gears 2 again...i might've just got some laggy matches, but the movement felt overly shaky and slow and the Gnasher didn't feel as precise

i'm a huge Gears 1 supporter so it's hard for me to say harsh things about it, but Gears 3 just feels like a smoother and better game

Gears 2 will forever be the ignored middle child to me though; that game just felt completely broken and unresponsive

You must be playing Gears 2 in HD/Widescreen then. SD 4:3 my friend (for all GoW's). Gears 1 & 3 may be 480i 4:3, but you must play Gears 2 4:3 SD to make the game feel as light and fluid as it was supposed to.

You also need to win a match outside of custom on each snowbli d map pack map.

With the exception of the retro and sawed off, I feel like Gears 3 offers MUCH better multiplayer than Gears 2 ever did.

There's no way you'd get me to go back to playing the second game.

Just getting to 100!? Thats funny stuff. As others have said, you need a vs win on all of the snow blind maps but it can be done in private. But getting to a 100 is no joke. Good luck.
