[Omen Gear]

How many of you would support this idea of classic maps that have not been re-made? With some tweaks these maps would be great addition to Gears of War 3. Epic said that they would listen so let's make this happen!

I was also thinking of having Hanley, Franklin and Chaps in multiplayer too.
I really want Skorge, Security,River, and Ruins so I voted yes.

i wouldn't make the liquid gold beating the first two insane campaigns, but instead as the gears 2 and 3 campaigns seeing as skins started in GOW 2 and now it was expanded in GOW3

edit: otherwise i like the idea lots

I'm glad I'm not the only one, I just hope more people support this.

i wouldn't make the liquid gold beating the first two insane campaigns, but instead as the gears 2 and 3 campaigns seeing as skins started in GOW 2 and now it was expanded in GOW3

The Liquid Gold should not be to easy to get and since it is The Historic Fronts Map Pack I think the conditions should not include Gears 3 but is just my opinion.

I would prefer new maps please. Either bring back all the old maps at once or don't do it. Much rather have awesome new maps like Artillery, Cove, and Aftermath.

I like those maps, however DLC just came out and I'd appericate not having to fork out more money to play on dedicated servers so soon already. IMO if it was easy for them to copy paste all of the GoW1-GoW2 maps over to GoW3 and release that to the community for free. I'm sure that would put a huge smile on the communitys face.

Cool idea but not those maps. I'm all for the skins though And weapon skins should pertain to Gears 3 since they started here... Other than that they need to bring all the maps back at once.

Since these mps are from Gears 1 and 2 I think that it would be a nice reward to players who put in the work on the games that started it all.

Let me just destroy Security for everyone who think it would be good in gears of war 3, retro lancer in the tunnel. You lose the initial fight, well you ain't getting in that tunnel for the rest of the game. Can't run across the middle of the map because of rifle strength killing you before you get anywhere, from the area with the switch. You are stuck between spawn and the grenades.

Avalanche should of made it into Forces of Nature, but I would not mind it in here maybe for Security?

Swap Garden for Process and River for Avalanche and I would LOVE this. At the moment I really like it, not quite love .

I think River would play awful on TDM, that would be my reasoning for wanting that switching out and I just prefer Process to any of those 4 maps were released as DLC during GoW1 (forgot the name of the pack now).

I can't stand the idea of paying for something i paid before. They should be FREE. Bad thing that will never happen.

I'd honestly like to see Highway and Courtyard back from Gears 2 also, and Fuel Station from Gears 1 & 2, those were great maps. Good thread though, something I would definitely buy. Not sure about the weapon skin suggestions though, Team Liquid is the only one that I'd like.

gears 2 was easier than 1 on insane.....golden rule of gears. Take cover or Die!

I'd defineltley buy this because it is GOW content, but 1200 is far too much for what the DLC is, don't lower the price though, put in more content. Avalanche? Way Station? Classic Hoffman? Water Skin(silver liquid metal but water instead, would look like a gun made of water)? Of course these are just things I would like, but more content for that price, like I said though, I'd buy it.
