    Default What do you think about my characters

    Alright i have finished them a while ago but stopped working at it because i won't be doing a third person gamemeshfile2.jpgrender.jpg (i am not good with mudbox it was my first time using it so if it's bad it's normal )

    i have attached two pictures a big one and a small one

    Yahooanswers the guys are right, your model is a bit awful - BUT - this is exactly how EVERYONE starts out so you're actually doing it right, you just need a LOT of practice (as juguefre said) but again this is the normal path that everyone has to take to get good at character dev.

    So basically, keep cranking out new models, building your skills, definitely invest in some pro grade character tutorials from one of the many online tutorial venders, and slowly but surely with each model you'll see a slight improvement. After enough blood sweat and years you'll reach a point where your models will start to make people go wow!

    You are correct, Online/offworld. The models are not exactly Epic games material, but if U got that far, with practice you can make something good.

    Begin with making low resolution game meshes in max or maya so that you get a good understanding of topology flow etc.. Then move onto mudbox or zbrush sculpting or else you won't have a clue when it comes to retopologising your high resolution model.

    If that's suppose to be facial hair, then not too great. But if he tried to drink drain cleaner, then induced vomiting, not bad.
