    Question Physical Material Help

    Hi guys. I have just installed UDK and i have set up a working physics asset for my character, but i havent found any physical material for organic meshes. So i tried to create one, but didnt end up very well.

    So do you guys have any tips on how to create one ?

    PS: My english is not the best so i hope you guys can understand what i am writing.

    Your videos didnt explain how to create a physical material for organic meshes............ -_-

    I dont get it.......... i cant find any answers about my question on his tutorials. Cant you experienced modders just tell me how to create it ?

    ok i've just checked my characters and they don't use PhysicMaterials i'd have to re-install UT3 to check. but if you use the Content Browser of the UDK editor and search for "PhysicalMaterial" you'll find some examples of Physical Materials

    it might also be an idea to read/search UDN for more info http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/PhysicalMaterial.html

    What do you want it to do for you? You make a new one and specify things like density and friction. You can check what physical material you have hit with a trace to change the footstep sound or fire a certain particle emitter. What exactly do you need to do with it?
